The death of the 15 year old boy was just a catalyst for pressures that have apparently been byilding for some time.

It was like "BANG", then 3 days of rioting. < :-)

Abroad, demonstrators raised banners at the Greek Embassy in London and the black-and-red anarchist flag at the Greek consulate in Berlin.

Separately, about 10,000 protesters from the Communist Party of Greece and another left-wing party marched through the center of Athens.

    Aren't Euros kawaii?

Let me get this right; this kid was in the act of throwing a petrol bomb at the police - an act which could easily have killed them - so they shot him, fair enough, what are they expected to do? Die? Then the so-called anarchists hit the streets and riot, joined by the communists and the students. Students have never earned the right to protest about anything, they need to join and contribute to society first. Then it appears that the police cannot enter the universities to make arrests!! What kind of country is this and how the hell did they ever get invited to join the EU?

-Bet that kid'll think twice before tryin' to murder more policemen.

As a Greek citizen, i feel ashamed for both actions (the death of the 15 years old boy AND the destructions caused by anarchists). The death of Alexandros Grigoropoulos was just a chance for them to spread the anarchy towards Greece. Most of the Greek citizens are totally against these events, since many of the employees are left without work because of the destruction of dozens of shops. Its a shame that here in the birthplace of Democracy the anarchism caused all this chaos and i seriously hope that police will be strict against them the following days. The right to protest is not equal with the right to destroy.

Marxism at its' finest. These Neo-Liberal Com thugs must be stopped at all costs. Hold the hard line and hold the individuals responsible.
