Uhm. Isn't your objective to, like, leave the EU...?

Was it ever?
What we saw earlier this year was schoolboy rivalry: perhaps modern history's most inept bluff calling by one side and a succession of vacuous raspberry blowing by the other
Boris & Co. failed to plan because they planned to fail. Full stop.

She is right on.
One cannot take any action, especially negotiate, until one is fully prepared. One of the most important part of preparation is to know exactly who you are, where you stand, what your situation is, what the circumstances are and what the environment is. Without that foundation, one is asking for major problems.
In my opinion, PM May is a sound leader for UK at this time.

Maybe the 17 million lemmings should have worked that out before they voted for Brexit in the first place?

The trouble is that the stated objective, namely to maintain access to the single market without maintaining free movement of labour, is not and never has been realistic and will certainly not be achieved. The great lie of the Brexiteers, on which the referendum was falsely won.
In the circumstances though, Theresa May is a better option as PM than any of the other candidates would have been.
On another topic, has anybody else noticed that Angela Merkel looks an awful lot like Anthony Hopkins?

Exactly. Or maybe the politicians who wanted Brexit should have given us a coherent Brexit plan. But that would be asking too much from the nationalists. Just goes to show that those who wanted brexit didn't then and don't now know what they are doing.

Five years down the track and they will probably be no closer to leaving than they were before the vote.

Right, so that's sorted that out then. Back to daily life.
