McCain has such a lead a momentum, that he is uncatchable. We all know Obama snubbed Clinton out of spite, but he shot himself in the foot.

mccain had a shot in 2000 but was swiftboated by rove and bush. Now he is too old to even make sense anymore. He is old and cranky and short-tempered and has lead pretty much an immoral life. He divorced his first wife at the age of 42 when he fell for a hot 24 year old. He was involved in the the huge Savings and Loan scandal of the reagan 80s becoming one of the Keating five which he never really came clean about after he was caught red-handed in the corruption. He cant even remember how many homes he owns. Five, ten, twenty. He is so rich he does not know the actual number.

He voted with bush 95% of the time. Who needs an invalid bush close for four years. Even his own party honchos are asking to say he will run only for one term cause he is so old.

Repubs can lie to themselves as they did about WMD in Iraq. This time the american people know better than to elect an invalid bush clone.

Sarge, I will say this mccain is better than fred thompson who you predicted would be the next president. What happened to him? Is he selling juicers now on late night TV?

I hope mccain picks romney. They are perfect couple. One has forgot his morals and the other is completely without any as with most repubs.

zucronium- Sen McCain has the strength and stamina of a man half his age.Democrat supporters seem to only be able to tell jokes, and hide from the real issues. Of course Obama snubbed Clinton, he doesn`t like her or Bill, even though she was his only chance to be elected.

bush has not been right once in eight years. even a stopped clock is right once in a while. But bush has been an alcoholic loser most of his life and somehow is guaranteed to destroy what he touches. Like the repub party now. It may not survive the bush mauling.

Sarge, come up with one initiative of the bush administration that has not been a total failure. Just one. Katrina maybe? The medical welfare act for drug companies? Bankrupting the government with his tax cuts for the top one percent? The Iraqi invasion based on lies for the oil companies that made bush president? Just one. Come on, one fact in your thousands of posts cant be too hard?

ColAmerica, mccain cant even walk off a plane without his younger wife helping down the steps. Open your eyes. mccain is old beyond his years due to the POW experience and his swiftboating by Rove and Bush in South Carolina in 2000.

No reply cause there is nothing to day. Now if your the CEO of Exxon, sure you are happy as you bought and sold president has delivered historic profits for your company. Too bad millions of Americans are getting screwed at the pump to make Exxon richer.

Rumor has it that mccain is going to pick cheney as his VP. Why bother chaing the VP when he has been so successful. As bush and mccain are so much alike it will be four more years then of the same ol same ol. Great ready for failed war number three coming up soon!!

In my opinion it would have disastrous if he had chosen Clinton. She is too strong willed to be a vice-president. I believe they would have not gotten along very well. A president needs a VP who is compatable. I would love to see a woman as president or VP but not Mrs. Clinton. She can be downright nasty at times. Besides all that she still has Bill at her side. She should have ditched him long ago but I supposed that would not have been a good politcal move. I want whats best for my country and the world. At this time, I do not know which candidate would be the better one. I need to do some more research.

alasaka republicans are as corrupt to the core. Senator Ted Stevens has been indicted for corruption and yet is still running for Senate. Amazing. And mccain picks someone from this cesspool?

Anyway, the oil industry will like her for sure.
