FarmBoy- What is wrong with things now.

2 liberated countries , a booming economy, low infaltion, low unemployment more millionaires. What is wrong with thing now? Nothing, things are great.

    SushiSake3:

Whitehawk - sorry pal, if McCain gets his way, we'll be looking at a good extra trillion or two just to fund his insane war policies.

Really? Have his "trillion or two" policy handy, do you? Can I see it?

Bush just earlier this year froze all non-essential spending on social preograms and in the process cut spending on programs for the poor, homeless, job training, you name it. Is that what you want?

Yes. There are only so many in this country who actually need social programs (cannot physically or mentally support themselves), the only "disabilities" the rest have are a lack of work ethic and/or an inflated sense of entitlement. The latter overburden the system and prevent the former from getting all the help they need.

Obama, to contrast, has just one bill he's co-sponsored that will send an additional $840,000,000,000 to nations noted for corrupt governments that keep their populace poor. That's just one bill.

Stand by your claim all you want, but it is unsubstantiated.

kimigano; A very disrespectfull view of the majority of Americans. We voted for Bush twice and we will soon vote for McCain.

The Republicans are the party of peace and caring. Obama would destroy our reputation overseas, and allow America to the new fron tin the war on terror.

  • kimigano at 02:16 AM JST - 29th August

We voted for Bush twice and we will soon vote for McCain.

Because most Americans believe what we rich tell them. Most of them obey. They will obey again in 2008.

  • Bilderberg666 at 02:20 AM JST - 29th August

Kimigano; americans do not obey. They have not had 1 party in almost constant power for the last 60 years, have they?

Obama will appease the terrorists. McCain will obliterate them, and make the world safe.

  • kimigano at 02:24 AM JST - 29th August

They have not had 1 party in almost constant power for the last 60 years, have they?

    yes they have. Corporations.

  • rjdsr at 02:25 AM JST - 29th August

Obama will appease the terrorists. McCain will obliterate them, and make the world safe.

This is 100% true. Obama is not only a terrorist himself, but a muslim. This should disqualify him from leading the nation founded by Jesus Christ.

I am also rich, and I am tired of the poor destroying America with their vote. Every election of a democRAT shows what damage the poor in America can do. They are in the majority because poverty is caused by laziness and immorality. Most humans fall victim to at least one of these two and cannot get out. The rich are above both, we transcended them by birth.

America needs to give more strongly weighted votes to those of us with a net worth above $100 million.

  • Bilderberg666 at 02:39 AM JST - 29th August

Obama would destroy tha nation, he would pander to European socialists and other lowlifes. Go McCain, decent folks know you ar the guy.

  • kimigano at 02:41 AM JST - 29th August

    Bilderberg666,

I am agreeing with you. Why the hostility?

Obama is useless. He will drown America.

  • Bilderberg666 at 02:42 AM JST - 29th August

kimigano; people can quite easily be analysed and judged by reading their history on JT.

I look forward to McCain bringing more peace to the world and securing the homeland.

Hopefully more successfull liberations are on th cards.

What a joke. What a very bad joke.

Its a terrible joke that the Republicans laughingly run on their foreign policy track record.

    They have none.

C'mon Republicans, step up. Stand up and deliver.

Name one, one successful foreign policy anything accomplished in the past seven years.

    I dare you.

    I double dare you.

  • Bilderberg666 at 02:44 AM JST - 29th August

kimigano- Sorry must eb too tired today, getting confused with sleepiness.

Obama is insane, look at his past friends his reverend for 1. America cannot trust this guy and other countries will not either.

  • kimigano at 02:48 AM JST - 29th August

Name one, one successful foreign policy anything accomplished in the past seven years.

    We killed Saddam.

We put pressure on the Ukraine with the most recent election.

We put money in the pockets of our rich with a secret backing of Chavez.

We killed Bin Laden (not announced publicly).

We got Somalia to export oil to us cheaper than international fuel prices. In return, our Navy (God's Navy) lets them pirate a ship or two here or there.

We have helped the Russians slap down the insane Georgian land grab.

    We got Milosivic.

We had Carlos Montyana, the communist leader of the banana growers union die in order to ensure cheap bananas for Americans...

    and on and on...

ridsr.. And I was wondering where foreigners get the impression of Americans being arrogant..

Too bad they have to run into people such as…. Instead of common everyday people such as myself that are not handed everything on a silver platter and also have worked for a living all my life, maybe not to be rich as you like to acknowledge but have been able to secure the funds to pursue most of my dreams, but one thing for sure, I feel I am lucky and I appreciate the chance to do so and have had alot of family support as for help backing my goals as well. Not all have these opportunities at their disposal, and I am certain those that do, hoard their little gold pile like a cat with a mouse, and forget the needy and forget charities as their riches come and are kept because of self indulgence and greed! I do know a few that will expect waiters and waitresses to kiss their butts and then leave them a dollar as appreciation or if in a crowd take the other extreme and flash cash as to proclaim their worth. For some reason I feel I am describing the arrogance many see as being American and also reflects as I feel here from you! Hey it is your life but do not down grade the rest of us.

And believe me everyone.. not all Americans share in ridsr's view or believe in those beliefs. The majority of people are down to earth everyday people that appreciate where they have come from wether from wealth or from poverty, one thing for certian, those that have fought to gain status appreciate it much more and do not down grade those that are not able to get as far as which the majority of people wish to do.

One last remark.. It takes all kinds...
