MOSCOW —
Dmitry Medvedev was sworn in as Russia’s third president on Wednesday, replacing Vladimir Putin. Medvedev, 42, the youngest Russian or Soviet head of state after World War II, nominated Putin, 55, as prime minister the same day, launching an unprecedented ‘‘dual head’’ leadership system.
The State Duma, the lower chamber of Russia’s parliament, plans to approve the nomination on Thursday. ‘‘The most important task for me is to further develop civil and economic freedom,’’ Medvedev said after taking the oath of office at an inauguration ceremony at the Kremlin. Medvedev has said he will continue policies pursued by Putin, who completed two four-year terms in office.

42 years old Dmitry Medvedev, will be youngest leader and records breaker, of Russia after 1940s.
Hope the USA will also get a younger generation leader with 1961 born Barrack Obama, whose is very young at heart at 47 years of age.
Careful what we wish for, we just might get it all. Fairy tales can come true if your young at heart and age.
