Merkel has to come to grips with political reality! The US isn't a friend -it is looking after its own interests and they are keeping Russia in its cage! Russia and Germany are gazing at each other while the US is in the background. Germany has more to gain from Russia than the US has from Germanyand vice versa-the Americans don't want European allies to get too strong to challenge US dominance..............
