Mexico reported no new deaths from swine flu overnight

Alright! This means we can all back to our vacations in Mexico....right?

Do not know about anyone else, but I really do not trust this messenger. I think I will wait to see if this correct before I believe the government line, "Everything is fine, you can go swimming no more giant shark!". For some reason I do not trust the Mexican government on this one.

Agree for a Mexican farm helper in Alberta passed the virus onto one or more swines meaning that farm is being carefully watched, as they feel this human flu is not goint to transfer to other swine farms.

So it is back again as both of the Virus experts in Alberta & the Federal Govt have confirmed it just a few hours ago. It was big news on the CBC & CTV in Canada & not a casual word about it, but deep thinking upon the authorities.

So what to the news. Depends if the virus continues to mutate as it refugees into new bio containers while it spreads around the world. Actually, it is common for this particular pathogen to greatly subside where host zero originally was, only to mutate over and over in different forms and pop up a few months later elsewhere…i.e.: So far this A(H1N1) is part pig pathogen from North America, part pig pathogen from Eurasia, part bird pathogen from North America, and part human pathogen. It could evolve in its evolutionary quest of natural fitness and not kill its host (similar to what some hope the HIV will eventually do), or…time will tell...pass the bottle....

The Mexican Federal Government is trying it's bets to control this horrible situation. I am in touch with my people on the ground in Mexico, and many Mexicans are sick and tired of being in their houses 24 hours a day, but so far, EVERYTHING IS CLOSED. Schools, restaurantes, goverment buidldings, bullfights, parks, boxing, wrestling, church services, etc.. Let us pray that this horrible situation does not really become the dastardly pandemic we are dread and fear. Wash, wash and wash your hands, face etc...

7 to 10 days of "walking contagion", before symptoms manifest.

Not only is the Jury still out on this Virus, but we don't have a clue where the Jury has been. The People to people is bad enough, but the people to swine aspect led credence to a People to Birds.

Hey, their country has seen a dramatic drop in tourists and can't afford to say anything different. < :-)
