the war on drugs is a complete failure but the few that get rich from it need it to continue.

The only way to stop this garbage is to legalize drugs, tax them and get on with life.

Here is a new spin: legalize drugs to stimulate job growth?

Legalize drugs? Then I guess the cops and the DEA and anyone working in drug enforcement could then work for the Cartells in providing drugs to everyone!

Waste of time and money and, more importantly, a blight on the lives of those who live in the area. Legalise, tax and watch this go away.

Why do people that by making drugs legal the problem will go away. The drug cartels will just try to undercut (sell for less) the legal stuff that has been taxed.

The same thing has been going on with alcohol for the last 60 years, its called White Lighting and people buy it because it is cheaper than the govt taxed stuff.

Mexico, sure, we have some problems, but the weather is great, the beaches some of the best in the world, just stay away from these narcos and dont drink the tap water, you should have a great time. About sending in troops, that is our president Mr. Calderon, just trying to make sure these idiot narcos dont get too hot headed like the North Koran and try to kill people on the USA side, just on the Mexico side.

Well there would be plenty of vacancies at the tax office counting all the extra wedge......and then there would be all the licencing duty offices, coupled with a new agency or at least huge vacancies at the booze, tabs, shooters annd toot Agency.

And let's not forget all the extra medical workers to deal with people making themselves sick on the stuff or the growth in the undertakers business.....

Organized crime would virtually disappear over-night.

    It's a win-win.

The American Gov (CIA) already works with the Mexican Gov/Army and their controlled drug cartels. =This Mexican civil war is about total control of the Mexican drug trade and infusion of these drugs into other nations. You already have the Mexican army coming over the US border when local police inforcement gets in the way. -Another reason that America needs to protect its' border better and enforce existing laws, but Obama and the Libs refuse to do that. However everyone must be groped for security/terrorist reasons by the TSA.

Has there ever been a situation where you take it at face value? Or is a sinister, behind-the-scenes plot twist a requirement for you? Honestly, I think you're up to dozens and dozens of conspiracy theories. In your attempts to make yourself feel important and relevant the rest of the world just sees you as unstable.
