Cheap flights from Japan to Mexico. Coming soon." But Japan has a consumption law, which if proved you smoked, or took an illegal drug, you can be arrested.
I think all need to decide we either live with drugs or not. There seems to be no in- between.

Heh, is there going to be a government measure as to what constitutes a line of toot?

We need to support the drug cartels and their wars by buying more drugs.

Damn. We finally have an issue our former president would have known how to handle and he's out of office. ;-)
That's already been happening for decades. My brother moved to S. Texas to take a flying job and his company had to implement a very strict policy regarding baggage handling because of all the people who tried to sneak weed back into the country on chartered planes. All of the charter companies in the area had the same policy.

Of course the New drug laws would cause worries, next up my guess would be Mexico create some sort of taxation sceme for drugs. With the drug seeking tourist coming from the north, that would mean a lot of America wealth going into Mexico's coffers.

Taka,
At least the current incumbent is man enought to admit what most of us have done at some point or other.
GoodJorb,

I've been saying this for years. Nothing is going to stop people cultivating/smuggling/snorting the damned stuff. Why they hell should they be tax free?

I am guessing they wanted to try out a new strategy that has been suggested for a while... If drugs are legalized, the crime surrounding them will fall. Mexico has a real problem with drug wars so I am quite curious how the turn out will be... Will it get worse or better?

It's all part of Mexico's economic stimulus plan...now they can tax one of the largest industries in their country.
