*“My wish is to completely tear down barriers and to create a world in which everyone becomes one,” Moon said in his recent autobiography.
“This is the best way to make peace,” said Fumi Oliver, a native of Japan who married an American, the Rev Zagery Oliver, 12 years ago. “International, intercultural, interracial marriage is the best way to make peace.”*
I don't know why, but the whole thing still sounds eerie to me. And I hope these marriages don't end in regret later.

He should do mass divorces also. Probably makes a killing in donations as it is with the marriages.

Any statistics on whether these marriages stay together? Nothing shocking here, rather like a Japanese omiai on a grand scale.

Awsome more moonies tie the knot, now they can panhandle money at LAX in pairs. I remember once giving a 10,000 Won note to a guy upon arriving from Korea during the financial meltdown of 1997. He looked at me like I gave him $10,000 when it was really about $9 at that time. I guess whatever floats your boat.

Lots of those marriages end in regret. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean divorce.
The difference with an omiai is you really get no choice, and the people chosen can be very incompatable.
In Korea people give 100 Won coins to beggars. That's 10 cents. The fact is, it adds up. Here in the US you can make a fortune panhandling.
