BAGHDAD —
"A woman accused of helping recruit dozens of female suicide bombers looked into the camera and described the process: trolling society for likely candidates and then patiently converting the women from troubled souls into deadly attackers."
[...]
In the separate prison interview with The Associated Press—with interrogators nearby—the woman said she helped plan the rapes of young women and then step in to persuade the victims to become suicide bombers as their only escape from the shame."
Beyond belief. Pure evil.
And these are the kind of monsters the Left and the anti-liberation crowd called "freedom fighters".

No not especially wuzzademcrat. There are bad apples everywhere. This is not one of the freedom fighters that we talk about.
This is a fanatic that has got so much hatred and rage built-up inside her and was taking it out on anybody and everybody. This is one of the mentally ill that has escaped from one of the mental hospitals that were destroyed or should have been in.
She isn't a freedom fighter.
The freedom fighters have mostly gone home, if they're still alive. They are trying to rebuild Iraq. They are trying to walk proud after years of being destruction and occupation. They are trying to rebuild their homes. They are trying to restart new families after so many were devistated by war.
No she wasn't a freedom fighter. < :-)

I hope they make an example out of her so to prevent any repeat of this. How the hell can you convince a girl who has just been raped to kill herself as a form of cleansing? Where are the big save all clerics in this picture. I hope they make a mention of this in their next sermons or what ever you call it.
I truly wish to envision a world where religion takes a back seat to common sense. After thousands of years, religion still remains one of mans greatest problems.

This woman arranged for the rape and then murder of eighty of her fellow Muslims, in the name of religion. She may well replace bin Laden as the face of modern Islam.

This woman or bin Laden is the face of modern Islam only for the extremely stupid. But there are people who do not believe it but will use such a thing achieve their agenda by manipulating the stupid. Those people are on par with Satan himself.

Of course, most posters here would laugh and say "Bring it on!".
Well the proof will be the number of posts that come claiming this woman is a freedom fighter. I don't see any so far. Let's just wait and see how many your insane accusation fetches, shall we?

The only good news to be taken from this horrific account is that it came out after Obama took office.
Had it come before it would have been dismissed as lies, propaganda or "black ops" by large numbers on the Left.
It's probable that most of them share the horror and disgust pro-liberation people like myself experience upon reading this story, but Ann Coulter was right: the Islamofascists have finally given the Left a war even they know is worth fighting, but they can't - because it puts them on the same side as ordinary Americans. And I think posts from likeitis exemplify this.

wuzzademcrat:
How about this: any of you out there who are American and are left, would you be willing to fight Islamic fanatics and for the benefit of those that are most affected by them, the average Muslim? Or would you wait until they pose a threat to you?

I am glad that she's been arrested. When Iraq takes control of Iraq all by their lonely they don't need anyone like Samira Ahmed Jassim to be causing any trouble. The Iraqi Police need to be able to build a new relationship with the people and the people should get the chance to start depending in the police. < :-)

Why do people feel the need to jump into every story and divide things between left and right? Who are these people to say what others believe?
That said, this is one of the saddest stories I've ever read. Recruit by rape. 80 recruits. These people are sick.

Oh, so the others would go along with it? Is that what you are saying?
Feel free to tell us what they would do. Neither me nor moonbeams mind you dictating what others believe.

"Why do people feel the need to jump into every story and divide things between left and right?"
The binary Bush world. You're with us or you're against us. Both sides of the coin are demented.

Oh fuzzy wuzzy.... Yes, thank goodness Obama was president when this occurred. Now, FINALLY, you can blame the government. Wow, that thing behind and above you...yeah, it's the deep end.
Skip,
And I'm sure you'll have my back and fight right along side, right?
Never mind.

In the passed wars were won (& lost) because we didn’t intellectualise them, we turned whole nations into the bad guys & felt free to attack & defeat them. Now the military have rules about who they kill & how they do it, which is as it should be. But beyond this we have this incredible “oversight committee”, the people, that are kept inform by the media, as if the media could really be trusted to do such a balanced job.
In Gasa the “innocent” Palestinian people’s choice of hamas cannot be condemned because it is their right & they must not suffer because hamas are extremist lunatics. In Iraq the general Muslim population are not to blame, just this “evil” old woman. She arranged for young women to be raped so that they would have nothing to live for & so could be talked into turning themselves into bombs. She did not do this alone, for a start she couldn’t rape the women, she couldn’t build & attach bombs & she never selected targets. Condemn her all you like, but she is only one element in a much bigger issue.
And that issue really is a them & us situation. Muslim extremists are trying to destroy our way of life & the “innocent” Muslims are doing nothing to help us, they are deaf, dumb & blind when it suits them, but we are expected to excuse them because they are innocents. They are not innocents, they better than we can bring some control & order back to their own religion, but they don’t. Travel through any European country today or better still watch the news items covering the Gasa demonstrations & what you are seeing is the Muslin culture being protected by the various governments because as civilised intelligent people we are expected to be tolerant of other peoples race, religion & culture even at the detriment to the indigenous race, religion & culture.
This woman represents what we are up against, a fanaticism that sees death as a normal way of doing things. She wasn’t outraged by what she was doing, but we are! What about her friends & family, did they know nothing, or everything & still stay silent?
Until the “innocent” Muslims are made to realise that there is a price that they must pay for their do nothing silence we have no chance of stopping people like this old woman.
We all have Muslim friends, but just how deep are those friendships, what are the conversations that they have with their own that they would never share with us? The luxury of trust has been kill along with all the really innocent people in New York, London, Madrid & where ever the crazies have murdered people. We may see it has a secular war but they don’t & until we stop intellectualising & making excuses they will continue to kill & terrorise.

It's the disease know as partisan politics.
This seems to be case of the question that every ethics class has. Be killed and you don't have kill anyone but someone else will or kill people and you don't have die. Which one would you choose?

Maybe this woman, this monster, got the idea from top-ranking al Qaeda "holy warriors".
"Islamic terrorists are raping young men in order to drive them into suicide bombings."
"The Sun quotes Algerian militant Abu Baçir El Assimi:
"The sexual act on young recruits aged between 16 to 19 was a means to urge them to commit suicide operations."
"The paper claims that "intense social stigma and fear of more gay sex attacks leaves Muslims prepared to die."
"Rape and homosexual acts are punishable by death under Sharia law."
