Sorry some14some, the news turned out to be a "misunderstanding".
FM Nyan Win of Burma (Myanmar) explained later, that he meant Suu Kyi's incarceration MIGHT ends , six months AFTER the recent house-arrest extension expires in May 2009. That is, not before S.G.Than Shwe safely elected himself as the candidate of the President of the country.
But, What no one understands is, the military-government-owned newspaper constantly boasts how popular the military leader's "Draft Constitution" was during the 'referendum' last May, and yet the SPDC still can't find any more courage to free this 63 year old little lady, whom they said enjoys very litle support from the people of Burma. (Sigh).
