North Korea likes to blame any problems it has on Americans. It can't face reality. Keep up the Juche spirit N. Koreans. Losers.

Has it been determined if they were on the DPRK side of the border or not? If they were, then more than likely they knew the risks they were taking.

That is a tough border to cross. Why would they take that chance with that place. Get what they deserve. Good luck.

Perhaps it is time for the US to tighten the screws a little with regard to both Iran and North Korea.

I think they can be set free.

Just need some quantity of USD money/fuel aid, a sum where a release deal can be done.

There is need for bill richardson/christopher hill/jimmy carter/madalene albright/anyone to negotiate with Kim jong il administration people.

A deal would have to be cut, but it depends on what evidence the DPRK has on the 2 journalists - trumped up charges or damaging?

Iran also holds journalists - who happen to be American, and women - in the jails from which dissidents usually leave in coffins.

It prolly just a coincidence! Shore would be embarrassin' if some dewy-eyed, unfailingly PC paragon of liberal tolerance had to go on the TV and admit we might just be lookin' at, uh, an axis of evil or somethin' here, wouldn't it.

The POTUS had better start getting our foreign policy act together because everyone and their mothers are kicking us to see how far they can get away with it.

Two thoughts: The North Korean government is barbarian and those journalists are the worlds biggest idiots for crossing the border.
