I hope to see him get married next year with an elaborate wedding ceremony that would put any European Royals to shame.

How many more generations of this Stalinist lunacy? Like the Pakistan - India conflict (essentially religious) the one between North and South Korea shows how destructive the totalitarian doctrines adopted by the Norks and the Pakistanis can be, thoroughly dividing people of the same genetic background to the point where they are ready to destroy each other.

1-15 years from now North Koreans, finally liberated, will be demanding to know why the South Koreans/the U.S. didn't liberate them before, lol.

South Korea can't afford to have a unified Korea. Who would pay the massive coats of that?

zichi - Come now, which is better, for South Koreans, and the rest of the world, a Kim Jong Un dictatorship for the next 20 years, or liberation?

Can SK afford unified Korea and take all refugees?

At German unification in 1990, WG population was 60million, EG was 16million (4:1).

SK population is 49million, NK is 23million (2:1)

WG GDP was $879billion, EG was $197billion (4:1).

    SK GDP $1trillion, NK GDP $19billion (46:1).

Very valid good question. I am wondering about that too. I wonder if China will try to take over both.
