Typical from NK. Endless demands, continuing aid and no concessions given. Why wont the world wake up and tell them to get real.

If North Korea has actually done as agreed upon and they have completed 80% of their disarmament (by NK reports) then we need to fulfill our agreemants.

Japan not honoring their promises just slows down the process, also. < :-)

I think the fact that they're started to dismantle their nuclear facility is a pretty significant demand being met. I don't really have a problem with aid being increased.

if they are actually holding up their end of the deal then it would be expected that the other countries do so as well. I really can't tell if there are changes being demanded from this article though, so I'll reserve judgement. It might just be another attempt to force Japan to give up on pursuing information on the fate of the people kidnapped. Time will tell.

I don't agree with doing anything to prop up this despicable North Korean regime. Let it implode.

The South Korean negotiator saying so is meaningful. It's a got-up affair from the beginning isn't it? Who among the six party talk members except Japan believes NK will abolish nukes? Japan is a deliberate hinderance to make NK seemingly have no choice but go back on her promises. And you can have more isolated Japan and dampen her bid to settle the kidnappings dispute too. Japan is supposed to be there only to donate aid while keeping NK nuclearized. All time unarmed cash dispenser without no sense of security and diplomacy.
