Good chance for both US-NK to improve their image and score some points in international market. !

North Korea has never suspended their nuclear program regardless of a deal or not.

Memo to North Korea: open your doors, let international inspectors in, give the inspectors free, unlimited access to any and all facilities and once your nuclear program has been determined to be benign then we'll talk about food aid. And one more thing Kim Jong-Un, don't think your pot belly is going unnoticed by the millions in your country who are starving.....

let em starve a little bit more. Enough to internally dismantle the regime.

Yes, let em starve. Punish the children who unfortunately were born in NK; punish the adults who have only heard the same propaganda all their lives; thank the Founding Fathers of the USA that they believed in the Second Amendment - the right to possess a firearm. Japan is very fortunate to have progressed so far under its Constitution without violence. If it is food for whatever, then NK needs to agree in public that a UN or other agency will supervise the distribution of the food and the food says that it came from Japan or the USA. Otherwise, the elite and military will fill their stomach, and nuclear weapons will continue to threaten the area.

@noriyosan. I agree with your sympathy for the children and adults. However, more food aid for (meaningless) discussions will only perpetuate the Kim regime and increase suffering. No one is punishing the North Korean citizens other than Kim Jon-Un and his father before him.

Wait, so what they are saying, is that they'll stop threatening us, if we give them food. Or at least, give them money for food. Heh, imagine if a person tried that. Wonder how long it would be before they ended up in prison, for extortion, blackmail, and assault.

NK, why not ask China for food? They're so rich, and they support you.
