Isn't technology great...it keeps even the poorest of nations trying to keep up with it. Sadly some technology that is devastatingly harmful and dangerous can also motivate nations to pursue its development for extremely harmful ends.

Here with N Korea, it is difficult to understand where and how such major funding is coming from and why.

It is even more difficult to understand the named targets as being S Korea and the USA.

The situation, circumstances, environment and timing to all this is extremely confusing when one considers it from the larger perspectives of global and international significance and impact. The key to it all is the "relationships" between people physically, mentally, and emotionally from the territorial, economic, social, and political perspectives historically and currently.

It is true that N Korea is being used by both China and the USA and do not allow it to be an independent and recognized state, even if under a dictatorship. If China forcibly uses it as a shield and cover for their covert activities, then the USA is using it to justify its presence in S Korea and Japan. Meanwhile both major countries do not allow N Korea to participate openly with the rest of the world.

One primary reason is that the USA has continued to label N Korea as a terrorist country preventing the rest of the world from really participating with N Korea's development. That has continued to make the USA, THE target for N Korea, at least on the surface. (But no one knows for sure that it is indeed the case.)

All of the international community is acting behind the scenes (including S. Korea and Japan) to deal with N Korea, knowing very well that China is using N Korea, at least for the time being as a "distraction" to their non-economic and primarily military and Geo-political conspiracy for world dominance.

Is North Korea still on list of nations sponsoring terrorism? I think it was officially removed from the list long ago and that announcement came when Hillary Clinton was in Japan.

“We will deal strongly and sternly with any provocation by the North,” the statement said.

Washington also condemned the test and warned Pyongyang against any further provocations.

I know they can't just start an all out war but I read this every time NK launches a missile, which have been over a dozen now. Time for a different tactic?

China really need to deal with their pet project before the mad little fatty touches off a blaze that engulfs the region.

The only alternative is an internal coup. That's the only way North Korea joins the rest of the world.

How the hell do they afford these?

The missile trajectory was headed towards Japan too. In fact, it violated into Japan's Air Defense Identification Zone for the first time.

North Korea is classified as a rogue state.

It's time the rest of the world stop "tolerating" these stupid asinine moves by NK. They've already killed someone with their launches. Every time they fire a missle without warning it should be considered an act of aggression. TIme to be straight forward and say, "Stop shooting stuff and we'll stop setting up defenses to protect those that may be hit by the stuff you shoot!"
