South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported the North had fired two short-range missiles into the East Sea

East Sea, huh? Think maps at the local library back home have another name printed on them.

ahead of the start of military exercises by Seoul and Washington that have enraged Pyongyang.

What doesn't enrage Pyongyang?

East Sea...lol. Who usesthis besides Koreans and the anti-Japan AFP? Somene should inform those South Korean college kids protesting against Japan, a US ally, about what North Korea is saying. Oh but they can't think rationally or don;t care,,,

Zzzz.... When are they not saying such things?

These large and lengthy exercises will have the NK mailitary scrambling to shadow the exercise. Money spent on this scrambling is hard to come by in NK's state.

Isn't NK always striking mercilessly? The hype is getting a bit old.

The usual NK rhetoric about mercilessly vanquishing imperialist enemies or whatever. They sound like the Old Testament crossed with Ming the Merciless and Fox News.

Foal Eagle sounds funny, but at least they tacked the Eagle onto the end. Give whoever thought of that a promotion.

Next time, go for full blown hilarious and call it:

Kitty Horsey Tanuki

or just cut to the chase and go with the post-drill barbecue theme:

Smoky Beach Luau

If they had carried out even one of their silly threats it Pyongyang would be a smouldering ruin by now.

"A new research report by U.S. experts published last month estimated that North Korea could be on track to have an arsenal of 100 nuclear weapons by 2020."

Hillary Clinton will never let that happen!

I'm so sick of NK polluting the sea with their rockets and missiles. How many more toxins are they intending to kill off the oceanic ecosystem with?
