Is this deja vouz?? Didn't old George W yell at the top of his lungs out in San Diego, California aboard an American Naval aircraft carrier something like good job and mission accomplished like 2 months into the mess called the war in Iraq?? I really, really doubt anything permanent has been accomplished there, sure they killed off Kadduffy, one of his whacky sons etc..but now there will be a power struggle, this is just human nature, not only Arabs, but it happens all the time in world history, I do hope I am wrong, what do you say WilliB??

NATO should have also released accurate numbers of people killed by NATO bombing which I think is around 1,100. But how many people would have died without the NATO intervention?

Something permanent has been achieved, the country is now free to hold a "fair and free general election" with any number of political parties, which should happen in about 8 months. The people of Libya will have the opportunity to decide what kind of society they want.

Unlike, other countries of the "Arab Spring" Libya has no money problems and won't need any kind of financial aid.

ElBuda: do you mean déjà vous or déjà vu?

Still zichi, no matter what, I can't really agree with this mission. It was an internal problem of a sovereign state.

The alternative was Gaddafi putting down the mutiny with a massacre foxie. The UN mission was a success.

Let's remind people that 800,000 Africans died the last time the French UN peacekeepers turned tail and ran.

Hi Foxie, are you being cheeky at this early time of the morning with a poor Mexican like me who is still half asleep?? LOL! **do you mean déjà vous or déjà vu? **?? Let me think about it, I only studied French for about 3 weeks until the teacher got sick of me mixing Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese in her lesson, so I will just take your word that you do know how to spell **déjà vous or déjà vu? ** and I am just hoping somebody like you will be nice enough to save me from my own ignorance in such a lovely language like French can be. Merci?? I hope I did not mess that up too! NATO and Libya well maybe Zichi has a point, yes people died from NATO bombs etc..but Gadafy was no angel and in my book this dude was going to be another Hitler and was ready to kill and kill and kill his own people that he so dearly called them RATS??

Oh, pobrecito, me siento mucho. I will save you from the French, don't worry. I really hope for the Libyans to get all what they want now. I am looking forward to visiting there again. The pistachios are great over there.
