Don´t count on it. Gaddafi was only defeated with NATO planes and NATO special ops on the ground. Gaddafis tribes are a major part of the population, and they are majorly p*ssed off that their guys are not in control any more. Left as it is, Libya will fall back into civil war.

So, NATO will now be forced to leave forces there.... to protect a newly created islamist regime, too boot. This is Sarkozy`s and Camerons Afghanistan moment. Lets hope they enjoy it.

Heh willi, your desperation is evident. Obviously you've been ignoring Tunisia's peaceful transition to democracy with hands on both ears, blinkers in place contrary to your doomsday predictions. Egypt will be the next blow for your Islamphobic obsession, and whilst I have no doubts that Libyan's face a struggle ahead, I'm sure they will be the final blow to your anti-Islamic agenda.

    Madverts:

It would be great if I was wrong, your dreams were right, and the Arab Spring were really to lead to modern democracies. Alas, I have been right throughout. Islamists have won in Tunesia, will win Egypt, and have already declared victory in Libya.

NATO is now stuck babysitting another islamist hellhole of their creation. Talk about unintended consequences.
