With your imaginary group of armed Mexicans, would they be described as Mexicans or Roman Catholic? Is it not for the same reason that religion wasn't considered relevant here? I'm no expert on Albania, but from what I read, this is an issue of Albanian ethnicity and not religion. I could be wrong, so someone please correct me if I am.
