I have complete faith that, after careful deliberation, the United States government will make whatever is the most economically illiterate and damaging decision. Same as they have done every other time in the last 40 years.

Who cares? Passing the bill in the House was a last and pointless display, were the roles reversed the Republicans would have made a similar gesture. While not the most delicate way to phrase it 'chicken crap' is fairly accurate. How politicians say things really isn't really, as Joe Biden would put it, a big deal
