It's safe to say Obama and his Chief of Homeland Security don't trust Canadians or Mexicans.

If we can't trust Canandians and Mexicans, who can we really trust?

    LIBERTAS

Calling all Mexicans and Canadians, try direct flights and bypass the US' immigration goons. We're much more compatible! "Bienvenidos a Canada! Welcome to/Bienvenue a Mexico" sounds much better than "Lie on the floor, punk, before I taser your astrolabe! And welcome to America!" Amerika! Who needs it?

The reason this has been a problem has been from border hopping and falsified passports/travel documents. I dunno about Canada, (Maybe some US felons/convicts have been fleeing North) but I do know about Mexico and South America.

Funny thing Libertas is should the US disappear off the face of the earth someday, someone else is just going to take its place as the whipping boy. And they just might not have the standards you're used to with the US.

It is safer to say that you and the rest did not read the article. The story is about Americans going into Canada or Mexico.

*The U.S. State Department said there has been no spike in passport applications because of the June 1 deadline. The increase came in 2007 when it became required to show a passport for air travel to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. That year a backlog of applications accumulated, affecting travelers nationwide.

The number of U.S. passport card applications, however, has increased as June 1 approaches, said Brenda Sprague, head of the passport division of the department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs.*
