I know this is gallows humor, but I saw a good line on the NY Daily News comment page criticizing this doctor for "ebowling the night away" just before his symptoms appeared. This virus is so crafty that it can even plague our language!

With crowed places and subways, NY is a really bad place for this and very good breeding ground for any infectious decease.

I dont really understand people's logic. You go to west African, treat people with a well known seriously infectious disease then come back to one of the most densely populated cities/areas in north america. What was this phydician thinking and why would the US government and the cdc allow this physician access to the area without a three to four week quarantine period. America may be the land of the free and brave but should get the Darwin award for intelligence.

The doctor's work is appreciated, but please, voluntarily segregate oneself for a bit for the further safety of people around.
