Even in the case of overwhelming evidence expect the Egyptians to insist to the end that terrorism couldn't be proven.

It's too early to assume the plane was brought down by an on board bomb. Since the debris fell on dry land it will be a straightforward exercise to determine if it was a bomb by the condition of the damaged components and evidence of bomb ingredient chemical residue on those parts. A "sound" heard in the cockpit by the CVR could have been generated by an on board bomb, by a ground to air missile strike, or by a catastrophic failure of the pressure bulkhead at the rear of the aircraft; the tail suffered a serious tail strike and was, perhaps, repaired incompletely. We'll know soon enough what really happened so I suggest we all be patient.

Dunno bush. It can't be the Russian bombing campaign as it seems to have fizzled out like an old dude running out of Viagra.

Burning Bush, I completely agree.

The Russians has no idea of how much hostilities in North Aftica they were facing in the aftermath of Arab Spring sabotages. Lacking the basic alertness is Russia who were naive enough and ignoring those dangers western countried were committing against them. Because the Soviet system is no more exist.

If you think the MadBeards won't be targeting Russia and Russians again you're off your head. Not to mention all your internal MadBeards and break-away nuts, who lest we forget that it is they swelling the ranks of Daesh.

Enjoy your war and the blowback, you've earned this one.

Tourists and travelers prefer to go places with stable governments. If tourism is important to the economy of a city/country, then a stable and safe environment is necessary.

I looked at visiting Egypt last year and decided against going due to safety considerations. The same for Moscow. Cooling relations was the reason not to visit. Looked at going to Mexico City this month. The violence has doubled there in recent years.

We are not 100% risk adverse. Visited 5 places with danger, violence, political issues, but the stability of the government is very important when we are picking places to visit.

Well, let's all be given a listen.

Strange I think. Why are the Russians asking the FBI to assist in the investigation?
