Soldave, you took the words right out of my mouth! China would never let the stupid DPRK ever get away with doing something so crazy as creating a new war, millions of refugees to spill into China etc..

South Korea is definitely the NK's ......... Well, I won't say that. I was really surprised they didn't go to war last year. They sank South Korea's ship, then bombed that island with people on it. It should have been bloody war. Obviously the South has no backbone for it. Making dramas plus sing and dancing are both much more important.

North Korea dare not fire a bullet over a U.S. Ship. Hmptf!! It's not our problem though.

Both sides should bringing back those massive array of 'loudspeakers' in the 38th and yelling whatever languages they love to say to each other, that will be the greatest 'gurantee' of world safety! You know the North has plenty time to do this, they dont have to worry traffics, they dont have to worry world financial meltdown and their game of yelling will last until forever!

They've threatened that many times. If they ever cause a sea of fire in Seoul, that will be the end of North Korea.

If NK does attack (especially with nuclear weapons), there is great chance that the Korean peninsula becomes the Korean Island... There will be no South Korea any longer, but just Korea, with the capital in the current Seoul.. The newly created Korean Strait will separate them from China...

I worry about many things, North Korea is not one of them. South Korea must have completed delivery of their goods and services to North Korea, so now it's time for North Korea to rattle their swords again. Whatever! "Yawn"

The war is an extension of the conflict between the western powers (USA & NATO) and the eastern powers (China & Russia). Japan needs to be NEUTRAL in the Korean civil war. Japan beating the war drums makes things worse not better.

Um...Yuri I think you need to recheck the statements by North Korea concerning Japan. Their grievances has little to do with the USA and focus more on the Imperialistic legacy that Japan left behind on the Korean peninsula. If the US was not in Japan, North Korea would feel more emboldened to attack Japan.

notasap, other than for a few missiles; North Korea does not have the ability to attack Japan. Anyhow the North has a much bigger worry than Japan and it is called the Republic of Korea. Unless the Peoples Republic of China sends forces, the Republic of Korea should easily be able to defeat a smaller population bankrupt North. As far as I know no Japanese want to die to protect the ROK. The crap their politicians and people say make me see red.
