NK is full of crap, and big sugar daddy China is getting pretty sick and tired of little NK doing stupid things, me thinks the Chinese will invade NK if it ever tries to attack South Korea.

Seems NK breaths in different type of air from the rest of the world. I don't think it's oxygen.

NK's longer term aim is, in order to gain foreign capital, to sell intercontinental ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons to friendly countries. They have already sold all kinds of missiles to the Middle East, and some of those ships have been intercepted. For smooth flow of such trade they will need their shipping routes free from interruptions.

Yet another definition of "declaration of war" from NK? Who isn't in a war against these fools with their crazy standards?

Bring it on. Thinking back to past naval spats between North and South Korea, my money is on the team from Seoul.

Under Bush administration, north korea was taking aid, stopping yongbyon cooling towers and having 6 party talks. Obama administration is in power now,and is doing great progress elsewhere but the north korea engagement process must continue.
North koreans need do go back 6 party talks again, aid and reduce north korean sanctions.
They can get more aid money for development projects and even become a future member in APEC trade .
International nations and north korea must now work to bring north korea more into 6 party international way of doing things. Christopher Hill group or others must bring back more common sense deals to korea peninsular progress via more fruitful engagements of all parties.
Common sense and cool heads must prevail in all parties in koreas and korea peninsular peace process.

It seems to be their favorite 3 words. Tomorrow they'll probably announce that any declaration of war against North Korea will be considered a declaration of war...just to be safe.

Release all the JT posters onto Kim's personal computers, denouncing NK like so until Kim gets so mad he'll throw a tantrum and lob a missile at Seoul. Seoul is aware of this JT tactic and battle ready, thus the missile gets taken down before harm is done.
NK does the 1st strike, and they're gone in a week; peace is restored all thanks to the JT posters ;)

Obama is too scared to threaten KIm, he's a goddam yellow chicken , just like i've been saying the past few days. Bush would have attacked already, the cruise missiles would be flying into Kimmie and his commie pals.

Like he did with North Korea in 2006?
When did South Korea stop being at war with North Korea? I think the word they were looking for should have been "escalation".

The ill regime doesn't understand that there is no way the US or anybody else is going to let him ship a nuke to some religious nut group bent on mass murder. By detonating a nuke NK has proven that they can ship a working bomb. They have miscalculated. This time the blockade might actually stick. Russia has been a victim of religious extremism and China has a growing issue. You can argue that they, or the US, have set themselves up for this but that point is moot. Perhaps the ills have finally proven to the Chinese and the Russians that they are renegade and have to be constrained; by force if necessary.
I would love to see China invade. It might be the one solution where the ill regime doesn't get a chance to do something nasty to one of it's neighbors.

Attack North Korea with what? We can shoot a few rockets and missisles, but there aren't any troops to sacrifice in another war. We're in a quagmire in Iraq and Afghanistan right now. We couldn't find the troops to assist any military operation.
george bush didn't do anything, only a lot of mouth treatment about North Korea. After 6 years he had to be a part of the 6 party talks. Wasn't anything he wanted to do.
But North Korea is China, Japan and Russia's business.
Matter of fact, bring our troops on the Korean border home. < :-)

Since no one has ever stopped him from doing anything before, why would you assume this would be different? Il can do whatever he wants, short of launching a full-scale military attack, and no one is going to do a thing about it.

NK really needs to be isolated. Nothing goes in, and nothing comes out, including their diplomats. They will either starve, attack SK without being able to maintain supplies, or they will finally become a rational member of the international community.

Of course, the Bush administration only came to the table after NK tested the first bomb. Before that, they refused to even talk, hence the original escalation. Personally, I don't care who is in power in the US, but I'm in total agreement with you when you say 'the north korea engagement process must continue'. But that is always difficult when you're dealing with a regime that are about 5 cans short of a 6-pack.

Original escalation? North Korea's nuclear weapons program began long before the Bush administration. If you want to talk about failure, look up the Agreed Upon Framework during the Clinton administration. What a joke that was.

China should help N. Korea carry about it's business unharrassed. The relationship could be mutually beneficial.

donkusai- 5 cans short of a 6 pack. This is a problem when doing deals between north korea and south korea. Even if there is let say peace and unity between north and south. Where will over 1 million north soldiers get jobs after unity.
The best solutions is to invite north koreans as foreign workers in many labour scarce nations.
This way they will have more money back home in north korea.
Many poor nation nationals have gone up economically via exposures to foreign business climate. The high value of foreign money remitted will boost local north korean won supply, this will boost north korean economy fast .
I hope 6 party talks, can make some deals in this regard, about how they can help in boosting north korean won supply. China should do more also to help implement more china like economic systems in north korea, to boost north korean won supply and circulation technics.
World will welcome north korean economy to boost itself up with global cooperations. There is no reason to let go north korean potential in global economic output increase.

donkusai:
Why do some people here post without even finding some basic information first? The US was at the table with NK all the time, but in framework of the 6-party talks. What NK wanted was bilateral talks with the US, treating South Korea as non-entity. Wearing ignorance like a badge of honor...
