    Mr. Bill

Telling the truth? No good dead will go unpunished!

Bush did not get a second term for honesty, that's the truth. At the very least you should say that everyone will be stinking rich in two years thanks to your policies. (a lie, but it will appeal to conservatives if you repeat it enough).

The stupid Republicans got us into this mess in the first place and they are doing everything possible to keep the US economy bad to blame it on President Obama.

Americans having seen hardships yet and their days sure will be 'arent better off'' for coming decades! The only method to save your country is criminalrize all the republicans, prosecuting and send them to labour camps! These republicans legalrizing 'tax evaders' and they help tax evading! In China if anyone resisting this justice actions were commiting 'counter revolution' law!

The truth hurts, but it has to be told the way it is. Obama inherited this problem from Bush and should not be blamed.. This is a very difficult time for Americans. But Americans are strong, and we can turn this around. "In God we Trust" that's what the US bill says.

Some Americans are only in their 30s and 40s. They retired comfortably with extra large bonus because they are bankers. They are also well connected with politicians. They have risked excessively for many failed investments with other people life time saving . They got some rewards with Obama bailed out funds. Their bonuses are not related to their poor performance. For these fortunate bankers, everthing is wine and roses.

To tell you the truth, I don't even know what to believe anymore, everyone is out for sale nowadays; to find a good politician is as hard as finding a honest mechanic, talk about a needle in a haystack.

What a man! Glimmering in his power! Speaking the truth! Hailing that all will be well under His rule! In God we Trust! Hail Lord Obama! What a powerless jackass, even over his own Democrats!!!

    @Lieberman

Did the president work that out himself or did it just pop up on the old tellyprompter? That's a dumb old cliche that suits you well, Lieberman. What in the world does this mythical "tellyprompter" have to do with Obama making what any normal brain would register as well-reasoned, modest, and constructive comments?

    and @yanee

What a man! Glimmering in his power! Speaking the truth!

Well, that's a dizzying example of a rightist's cynicism, when realistic and modest expression is taken as pompous self-glory. What would you have Obama say in this situation? Apologize for the whole mess? The economy would certainly be no better under a Republican, and you know it. Or did Obama just walk into Garden of Eden and spoil it with his lefty agenda?

As for being "powerless"-- interesting comment from the side that simultaneously derides Obama for ramming his "socialist" agenda down our throats and secretly plotting a fascist/Muslim/communist/liberal humanist/elitist/statist takeover. Make up your minds.

it's is 100% Obama's economy. He wanted the job, he said he'd change the economy,he had a land slide victory he got a full majority in the Senate and House and did nothing but push his liberal adjenda hoping to sure up his black and poor hispanic vote. What's he doing now? He's blaming Bush, even though his jobs bill isn't going to be voted on because (D) Harry Reid is "tabling it" without a vote because even the democrats don't like it. He's a professional bs'er like many of us know at work and he moved up the ladder by pure luck and white's wanting to "feel good" for voting for him. Proof that 70% of the world is a bunch of morons... and I predict he will get reelected.

I voted for McCain just for the record. Thought Obama was not up for the job in the first place.

@realdoll--And we all know that any non-white only goes for the presidency out of an elite sense of snobbery, like they own the place, er . . . ah, anger at the white man . . . or, um, vicarious sublimated white guilt by a half black man . . . uh, no, determination to overthrow capitalism to enrich George Soros and other rich capitalists while redistributing wealth through big government intervention, and getting away with all this liberal jive just because he's colored. Whoodathunit realdoll.

It's been an educational presidency. Modern liberalism is a substitute religion for the majority of its exponents. Its cherished tenets have largely been refuted or are proving laughably impotent. The true believers on the Left are angry.Ordinary Americans who find themselves organizing for the first time in their lives in something called the tea party movement, on the other hand, are basically the Kulaks in Obama's America. It could get ugly. But I think this president goes out not with a bang but a whimper.

I would like to share the information why Obama is asking us if our life is better off now than 4 yrs ago.

As many of you have already guessed, the Republicans are not blocking American Jobs Act to pass. We need to pass this. The republicans are not even coming up with their own version of American Job Act. The republicans want Obama to fail for 2012 Election. They are not for jobless Americans who are going through very tough times. They only think about themselves to be elected. Very Sad.

Let's help Obama. Let's help American jobless people. Let's help us all.

President Obama is urging Americans who support the American Jobs Act to demand that Congress pass it already.

Though it's been nearly a month since he laid out this plan, House Republicans haven't acted to pass it. And House Majority Leader Eric Cantor is out there actually bragging that they won't even put the jobs package up for a vote -- ever.

It's not clear which part of the bill they now object to: building roads, hiring teachers, getting veterans back to work. They're willing to block the American Jobs Act -- and they think you won't do anything about it.

Oh dear, it should read as the republicans ARE BLOCKING American Jobs Act. Very busy day, and sorry about the error. Bad me.

According Greece experience, tax payers funded job creation was unsustainable. Obama worried about massive job losses in banking industry. He also wanted to protect the bigger and cashless banks. Therefore he bailed out the failed and hopeless banks. After three years these weak banks are shredding the jobs anyway. His experiment has failed. The worst is private debt become sovereign debt. It will take longer to settle this unwanted burden. Spending and borrowing alone can not solve the root cause of the problem.

US treasury is no longer a paradise for investors. Saving and partial default is closer to the reality. Bush and his war mongers have to sell their assets for repaying the national debt. All politicians have to accept the pay and allowance cuts too. Bankers also have to share the pain with ordinary folks.
