All kudos to President Obama!
The world looks to the United States for leadership in this, and Mr. Obama delivers.

And the Southern border remains more porous than ever. No resources available for that.

The time for getting the current ebola outbreak under control was a few months ago. That's the sad truth; stirring up wars takes priority over doing something positive. Now, when ebola is metastasizing into an outbreak with far larger prospects does it get on the radar. Pitiful leadership.

No one would remember the U.S. troops for this.

Some will remember, but that doesn't matter. It's the right thing to do.
You'd have more credibility if you had expressed your concerns a few months ago. Not a peep from any of the usual pipsqueaks.

"You'd have more credibility if you had expressed your concerns a few months ago."
I did, but thanks for asking.

You must mean your comment of August 7 -- not quite several months (when Ebola had been in the news) -- where you found yourself agreeing with President Obama.
Thanks for playing.
John Galt
No, yabits, but have a nice day.

Well, on August 7, you agreed with how President Obama was handling the experimental vaccine for the virus, with nary a trace of the criticism you're voicing now. The vaccine is central to helping to contain the outbreak.
Thanks to President Obama for his leadership in this.
