This administration has brought new meaning to the word "dithering"..... and in geopolitics, nothing is more dangerous than dithering.

When U.S. and other foreign troops left on an announced schedule, the Taliban pounced

No surprise there.

While they wait for more troops to leave, they can be building up for masive operations to reclaim Afghanistan.

They will not stop till they win the war.

Afghanistan through out history has been one hell of a place to control.

The Taliban is only one of many factions there.

Some of them can work together while others will take any advantage to get control.

I wish Afghanistan could find peace, but sadly that does not seem likely in my life time.
