It's becoming clearer every day why those who hate America and seek its destruction supported Obama. They couldn't have found a better ally in the White House.

I didn't know there was a ban but I'm glad it's being lifted. Better late than never. People shouldn't be discriminated against because of health problems.

Such a comment reveals a kind of "HIV of the brain." Anyway, it's a sick one.

Since there is no danger of HIV being transmitted to the general population, President Obama is doing the wise and compassionate thing here. And showing wisdom and compassion can only serve to raise the esteem and prestige of the United States. (A good thing, but for some little nervous Nellies it is apparently not.)

That was certainly illustrious company the US government kept in terms of policy over all those years! Good on the country for raising itself out of ignorance, and credit (apparently, according to this article) to the previous administration for starting the process.

Such a short comment when it's about his hero but no backup whatsoever. But if there were another man in the white house doing the same thing well then we'd be reading a paragraph of drool.

My comment was quite a bit longer before it was edited, but I guess that's what you get when you point out the idiocy of people relating this topic to Muslims and 9/11. Regardless, no, you wouldn't see me, as you infer, going against this if it were the shrub in office doing such a thing; that's part of the point -- he never did, and Obama lifted this ignorant ban... which, my friend, was STARTED by the previous admin. So, no, it's not at all 'the same thing' as the last person in office. It's the opposite. Lifting a ban on travel for those with HIV is, again, a GOOD thing.

I cant agree with your support for right wing Komeito but you are always among the first to come and display your political correctness on threads like this, which is very important.Too many young Americans are afraid to keep pressure on the haters But I'm afraid your post is riddled with errors. The ban was not started by shrub's administration.

And btw - no comma is needed in this sentence:"Obama is doing a good thing, here."
