We can all trust McCain to pick a great running mate, wish it was Sean Hannitty!!!
Dosn`t matter which lib fool Obama picks, as he is gonna lose, his support is waining by the day. hahahaha
Go McCain, the worlds most highly respected war hero.

sarge, "Dosn`t matter which lib fool Obama picks, as he is gonna lose". I disagree, it seems he is on the path to winning, at least that is what most polls state. Additionally, what I do have a problem with, no matter who O chooses, there will be very little criticism, if any. Obama seems to have a carte blanche with the media right now. I don't recall ever seeing a candidate with such little criticism against him since I have been of voting age, which on one hand troubles me on the other, perhaps he is that clean.
Do you mean Sean Hannity the news guy? Is he running?

skipthesong;
Sean Hannitty isn`t running, but i wish he was.
McCain is catching Obama, and i am sure the public will see him for what he is, style and little substance.

Too bad John Edwards got caught last week in Beverly Hills visiting the floozy who is mother to his love-child. He would have made a good veep. Maybe Sen. Obama should go with Joe Lieberman...

Skip, The myth that the mainstream media favors Sen. Obama over Sen. McCain was recently debunked.
Here's a link to a recent study showing that the media actually favors Sen. McCain (they must like the doughnuts): http://www.urlfan.com/local/studymediafarmorebiasedagainstobamathanmccain/92909360.html
From the story:
After analyzing the nightly ebb and flow of our current race, the center’s researchers see a pattern (Via the Los Angeles Times):
...that ABC, NBC and CBS were tougher on Obama than on Republican John McCain during the first six weeks of the general-election campaign.
surge, The only possible down side I can see to adding sean hannity to the GOP ticket is that the added exposure may increase his already epic ego, to proportions that literally cause his head to explode. I don't think anyone needs to see that on TV.
I still like the idea of Sen. McCain and Clarence Thomas.
As for Sen. Obama, I would really like to see him add John Edwards to the ticket.
And if either man could convince Gen. (ret.) Tony Zinni to run, that person would have my vote.

Being a good capitalist, I prefer to follow the money:

MSNBC last summer ran a story on journalists' contributions to political candidates that drew a similar conclusion:
"Most of the newsroom checkbooks leaned to the left."

Hey undecided, By any chance, was John Edwards' love-child the same color as Sen. McCain's love-child?
Recycling smears. How "green" of you. ;-)

ramen, You are mistaking personal opinion with professionalism. Think of it this way, when I come to the New Sanno, I fully expect that you pour my drink with the same professionalism that you would pour a drink for a neo-con. The same holds true for journalists. Just because they believe one way, doesn't mean that what they write is a reflection of their personal beliefs.

Better care who Obama picks as a running mate. He's going to be the next vice president. < :-)

Better be carfull about predicting an Obama win. McCain is catching up fast, the public is growing wary of Obama. McCain is the man, and the next president of The United States.

Taka, sorry, but I am not convinced. My accusation is off what I see, and we have tonnes and tonnes of screens being displayed here with all sorts of news day in and day out. Everyone says the same, the media loves the Obamas! Now, I am not saying that is his fault, nor any wrong doing on his part. MSNBC has been widely known to be run by very ultra left wingers.
I still like the idea of Sen. McCain and Clarence Thomas. " Clarence wouldn't get a single black vote for him. If he did, I sure wouldn't want to be the black guy who did vote for him and have people know about it.

obama's has yet to lock up the dem's nomination. This talk about him choosing a runningmate seems a tad premature.

Skip - the dems' shriekfest in Denver is still a month away. Given obama's waffling on key issues held near and dear to the far-left contingent of the democrat party that originally selected him earlier this year (the death penalty, wiretap laws, handgun bans, his etched-in-stone, 16-month withdrawl of troop from Iraq promise, etc.) the delegates and the SuperD's might be experiencing buyers' remorse. Remember, hillary only "suspended" her race for the White House.

It's funny that ramen never mentions that mitt romney also "only suspended" his race for the White House.
And he's changed his position on things far more than Hillary.
Make it a double!

obama better find someone to help him in the polls.
According to the the most figures released by USA Today/Gallup, Mr. McCain actually leads obama among likely voters by 4 percent.
Heh, so much for a bounce from his week overseas gettin' all worldly.
Good times

ramen, Yes, you were telling Skip the Sen. Obama may not win his party's nomination because Sen. Clinton only suspended her campaign. We get it. You've mentioned it several times. I pointed out that it is ironic that you have never mentioned that Sen. McCain, may, in fact, not have his nomination sewn up because mitt romney only suspended his campaign. If you cannot see that trying to sound like you have a point to criticize the Democrats with, when the republicans have the exact same situation occuring, is, at best, foolish, then there's probably a very good reason you can't find me when you look back over your shoulder.

Bill Clinton! He's still wildly popular!

Awwww, I love to read the messeges of support from the republicans. They show how supportive of the democratic nomonee.
I'm waiting to see who McCain selects. You can bet he'll be younger and he'll know something about economics, since McCain has already said he is not someone who knows anything about economics.
Yeah, I'm concerned about Obama's selection. < :-)

Bill Clinton as Vice President, is good choice. Bill's past economically excellent administration experience, can come to be very handy for Obama.

obama should select Hannah Montana as his VP choice. That's the only group of Americans who buys into his Hope, Change and click your heels and wish type of politics.

If he does, Sarge, obama will have to grow a pair of eyes in the back of his head. He doesn't come across as a guy who's not very interested in losing his life.

OOOOO RomeoRamenII, Bill Clinton still just eats you up. Couldn't get him kicked out of his presidency could you. You boys tried. Even got him impeached, but he remained in office till the end.
But where were you rightous republicans when george bush lied his ass off and got us into a war basr=ed on lies, fabrications and crap? Couldn't be so rightous, huh?
It really makes no difference who they choose. They will be president and the congress will be democrat. If McCain gets elected, nothing gets done. Democrats will fight the president, and McCain will whimper.
If Obama gets elected, we'll see a bunch od republicans start lining up to appempt to take potshots at dethroning him and wasting away at his presidency fighting lawsuits, like Bill Clinton.
OOPS, Bill Clinton's 8 years will forever be looked at as a success.
george bush's will be looked at as a total disaster.
But, I'm still looking for Obama to be the next president. < :-)

These two really need to decide their running mate. Convention times are getting close and we'd like to know who their partner is.
We also want to know who the VP choice is because we don't want another sweetheard deal for a VP just to start a war. < :-)

The rapper Lewdacris (sp?) wrote a song COMPLETELY dissing Senator Clinton. And he is Sen. Obama's favorite rapper; so I'd say Sen. Clinton is probably off that Veep list!
