We knew it would come down to this. The republicans would do anything to kill the effort, so the democrats will have to carry the vote. < :-)

Obama and his "democrats" will be the ruination of America. Just wait and see. His healthcare plan is neither democratic nor is it a good plan. People will be given no choice, and the good parts of the present health system will be destroyed. Obama is still not clear on who exactly will pay for his wonderful plan.

His healthcare plan is neither democratic nor is it a good plan." Now hold on. first of all, there is no plan yet! That is one of the major problems that is even stopping some dems. There is no concrete plan. Also, we should all be concerned if the plan is going to fund immigrants that are not legal, which was promised but which as of yesterday was turned over.I also don't like the idea of having to pay for abortions; young girls yes, older mature people out of convenience - no!

Where does it say in the Constitution that the federal government has to provide health care?

U.S. Constitution: ... "provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare..."

That's PROMOTE the general welfare, not provide for it. Obama should read the Constitution.

The US constitution does not give the government the right to take over businesses and rip off investors nor does it give the government the right to steal half of the money that "rich" people make either.
