Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. The problem is, that those who are out of work right now, know quite well that the primary person responsible for them being out of work, is the one preaching jobs. Or rather its the policies of his administration that has destroyed thousands of jobs, putting hundreds of thousands out of work. You need only look at the oil industry for the clearest example of that.

Cree has received hundreds of millions of dollars from the Federal government and has created 5,000 jobs in China. Obama is doing a better job of creating engineers in China than in his own country - much as he is doing a better job of developing oil in South America than in the US. Obama was simply making a campaign stop in North Carolina - a state he won in 2008 by a mere 14,000 votes. I can assure you, he will lose that state in 2012 as he will many states in the mid-west that are in dire economic shape under his presidency.

Republicans tend to have no soul. Democrats tend to have no spine, and Obama's declaration backs that up.
It seems that Weiner has both a soul and a spine. So he I hope he keeps fighting this nonsensical unimportant side issue, or perhaps I should say side-show?
I wonder, if Michelle Obama had suggestive pictures of Barak, and they split up in a bitter divorce and Andy Breitbart bought and released the pictures, would Barak drop out of politics? By this statement, I suppose he would cave in. Not a good message. Would not be surprised if some Obama haters are not desperately searching for something sexual about Obama right now!

I see Iwitness is still at sea here. No photos were bought. Weiner has admitted he did wrong. The head of his party has said he should step down. Breitbart and the repubs are basically very minor players in this whole drama. Wiener has checked himself into "rehab", which made me chuckle. Is he gonna get himself "cured" of being hetero? Wow. Looks like Iwitness might be able to work himself up into even more pointless and faux indignation.

And yet just yesterday, official word from the White House Staff, "Weiner is just a distraction and not newsworthy". Talk about flip-flopping!

"Weiner's vow to seek treatment"
Who would pay for that? Taxpayers?

Sometimes I think people like him should be thrown out, and sometimes I think we should be more European and let people's private lives be private unless they are breaking laws.

Weiner put himself in a position where he could have been blackmailed or strong armed into voting according to the directions of his blackmailer(s). He's lucky that these photos only became public. Weiner is ashamed that he was caught and had to apologise for sending the photos and for blaming others to cover up his own stupidity.
Besides the usual criminal and civil laws, as a member of the U.S. House, Weiner is also subjected to the rules and regulations of the House. He can be impeached, censured, removed from committees and ignored. It's his own Democrat party that is calling for him to resign. He has NO friends in high places. I doubt that anyone will co-author a bill with him, fellow representatives won't make appearances with him and the DNC may chose to withhold campaign funds.

Anybody could get blackmailed over a sexual matter just for having a sex life.
But there is a blackmailer here and his name is Andrew Breitbart. I have been trying to figure out how he got the original pictures. While it does seem that other pictures were sent to him by women who received them (correct me if I am wrong) it seems the very first picture, the PG one, was the result of Weiner accidentally tweeting the wrong picture. And it seems that only one person even got the tweet, some loon who is obsessed with the Weiners, and he sent it to Breitbart. Then Breitbart ran with it from there and managed to get more pictures and information by needling the whole thing and Weiner too.
About the only thing I have learned from this episode is that Breitbart is a dangerous and evil person. He subverts democracy the same as Karl Rove and J. Edgar Hoover. He should be in jail for blackmail and harrassment.

Hahahaha. Of course, it MUST be someone else's fault that Weiner chose to send naked pictures of himself over the internet. Why would you want to blame the actual photographer and budding internet porno star when you can make an attempt to misdirect the public away from Weiner's faults?
The ONLY reason that Breitbart or anyone else ended up with Weiner's photos is because Weiner himself put them on the internet.
The Democrat party, the Democrat President and the Democrat leaders in both houses of Congress want Weiner gone. How much longer can he ignore his master's voice?

Iwitness - Weiner admitted he was wrong. And he apologized to Breitbart for smearing him. You have hit bottom. You can stop digging now.

I am not sure what part of the word "accident" makes it someone elses fault. Is English not your first language?
I guess you can't just a little more specific like I asked? Man, if you don't know, man up please!
Kind of does not explain the lack of ethics charges does it?

...to shut you up.
He bent to the man blackmailing him.

Hahahaha. So Weiner "accidently" sent hundreds of photos of himself - repeatedly - over a long period of time.
Weiner sent the photos. Weiner admitted to doing that. Only you still seem to think it was done "accidentally".
Ethics charges are NOT the main concern of the Democrat leadership. Getting re-elected is. Democrats want Weiner gone before he drags the rest of the Democrats down with him.
I doubt Weiner admitted he was wrong to quell commentary on a Japanese website.
Weiner admitted that he, Weiner NOT Breitbart, sent all of these photos.
Weiner has become one more "shovel-ready" project for the Whitehouse.
