I wonder why Obama does not show the same impatience with Israel's foot-dragging, considering that UNSC resolution 487 (almost 30 years ago) "Calls upon Israel urgently to place its nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards".
As an NPT member, Iran has an inalienable sovereign right to do what it is doing.

Which, unless I am mistaken, is a nonbinding resolution...Maybe that explains President Obama's disinterest. Also might have something to do with the fact that UNSC resolution 487 was a response to Israel bombing Iraq's nuclear facility. That also meight explain President Obama's disinterest in it.
Now, Iran's often violent proxies (that you now know about because I helped you learn about them) in the Middle East might be part of the reason President Obama is interested in Iran.
