It will be interesting to see the French lecture President Obama about being too socialist.

This trip Obama won't get the adulations he received the last time he went to Europe. This time he's not the one who running for president and they have heard him speak a lot more as president since then.
But the biggest one reason that Barack Obama got so much attention from the Europeons on his first trip was because he wasn't george bush.
Now that Obama is the president he should be there to work with and not just to try to be the leader. Obama will be there with a more receptive to work with and not my way or the highway attitude. < :-)

teleprompter: this comment from a bush fan? Please! Every single one of your comments in relation to Obama is a HUGE step up from the way bush was, particularly since bush had never really been overseas at all before becoming president. And lest we forget, bush currently ranks as WORST president in the history of US when it comes to international relations and foreign policy.
Oh, and thanks for the 'heritage' link! haha.
It will indeed be interesting to see both how Obama is received and how he deals with things overseas now that he's actually president and not just pounding the Republicans into the ground during the campaign. I'm sure things will be a lot less rosy, but that's fine.

The Telprompter Of The United States (TOTUS) will be going. Without it, Obama is speechless.

Ahhh... the bitter Republicans. Simply upset that their new leader is far, far better than their old, and will get a far better reception, they lash out at anything they can. Their absolute best fight against Obama: he uses a teleprompter! How sad for these guys
Obama will be welcomed and will make more progress in the International Forum than bush made his entire life, and in particular when he drove US relations into the ground over the last 8 years. Good luck, Obama... not that you need it.

While the world economy craters the GOP focus on a prop. Reminds me of their last "absolute best fight" against Clinton: a blue dress. Yes smithinjapan it is very sad.

Funny that President Obama's defenders slam conservatives about teasing him about his omni-present teleprompter. Meanwhile, BO spends his time filling-out his college basketball bracket as the economy tanks. Then he goes on television and just laughs about the economic misery that everyday American's are going through.
BO is all about public relations with no substance. The Europeans know this and that is why they are not afraid to pan his wild Keynesian spending spree.
But even those on the Left have to admit, Obama has a tendency to stammer and repeat himself while making off the cuff remarks. That's why his people understand that he needs that teleprompter in Europe.

Teleprompter, teleprompter, teleprompter. He can't speak without it, can't speak without it, can't speak without it. Who's a parrot? who's a parrot? who's a parrot?
At least the guy speaks English, which is a step up for the USA after the last guy. But I guess pointing that out makes one an irrational "Bush Hater" hehe. Much more rational to listen to the fat junkie.

World stocks fall amid renewed auto, banking fears World stock markets slide amid new auto, banking fears, pessimism on upcoming G-20 summit
Obama is a disaster. All we can do is hope Merkel, Sarkozy, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the Czech prez Vaclav Klaus slap some sense into the naked emperor.

"Prospect of Barack Obama show causes UK to clear its decks
With an entourage of 500 staff, an armour-plated limousine and a fleet of decoy helicopters, America's new president will arrive for his first visit to Britain amid huge razzmatazz on Tuesday for the G20 summit."
