It's not how much insurance do they need? For some it's any insurance they can get, since they can't get it.

Republican's health care plan. Sell insurance to the ones who don't need it and if you get sick, die fast. < :-)

if they are not going to hit tort reform, its useless.

Aday, why don't set up a charity and give these so called people who can't get it get it? You're the one who wants to spread your wealth. Would you mind if I can enjoy mine for a bit until I'm as old as you like you have enjoyed yours?

Why not bar auto insurance companies from denying coverage or charging more to people who cause accidents?

People with severe medical problems have much higher medical costs than those who don't. Some can pay it, some can't. Those who can't should receive help. But the Democrats' plan will just basically have the government take over the health care business, which would suck big time.

well, that depends on what you call a death panel. Do they sit there and say you live and you die, no, but they do, as do many other countries, just not give required .... do some research on the Kobe Earth Quake in 1995 or 4 Also, so does the military!

Let's face it. The US is a dog-eat-dog society, the strong survive and the weak don't. That's what they've chosen. The rest of us are more enlightened and have universal health care in one form or another. Leave 'em to it!

If only we could have that. That would be so wonderful. The people who hate American would quit coming here and trying to change it to what has failed elsewhere. The US could go back to being the most successful country in the world. Wouldn't that be terrible!

You do realize that the wealthy ones are given the best doctors and hospitals in your failed universal dream world? Right? Or is it that countries with universal health care have universal quality of care for everyone, I think not. You are universally dieing to get on the list for treatment, and your medical systems are universally bankrupt.

And you know this from extensive stays in American hospitals? You pose as an American in some of your posts here, and then you talk about America vs. 'the rest of us'...
