Everton2: "Obama is arguably the most capable politician the world has een in the last 50 years"

Someone could be in for a world of disappointment. He MIGHT be capable. The jury's out -- and that's the biggest understatement the world has seen in the last 50 years.

No doubt he'll continue to be a good puppet.

that's why the Eurasian Union (E.A.U.) will succeed where the U.S. has failed. our integration will occur very gradually, very slowly over 10 to 20,000 years. remember the story of the rabbit and the turtle? rabbit lost.

there's a bipolar disorder present in the U.S. it's a 'you're an indian' and a black/white mindset that pervades the citizenry. it doesn't help when your country is founded on a crime against humanity, i.e. taking lands and forcefully evicting native peoples who've been there for at least seven thousand years or so.

Am I the only person who sees that Obama is mixed race? Why does everyone refer to him as black or african-american? Doesn't his white heritage count?

  • Cyphin at 05:30 AM JST - 18th November

No, it doesn't count. Your only a mix if your ancestry doesn't have any African blood in the USA. I truly find that sad as it seems like its "legal racism".

  • LFRAgain at 12:33 PM JST - 18th November

It shouldn't count for anything, being either black or white. But sadly, for some, it does.

    Teaabe,

I think you’re confused as to where you’re actually from. On one thread about Japan taking the lead in “a new global financial order,” you replied:

why should Japan shoulder the burden from a mess that was created by the U.S. in the first place? we are not a slave.

    “We”? So, you’re Japanese?

Then on this thread you write:

that's why the Eurasian Union (E.A.U.) will succeed where the U.S. has failed. our integration will occur very gradually, very slowly over 10 to 20,000 years.

“Our”? Okay. So, you’re from the European Union? Which is it?

Meanwhile, you don't seem to have very exacting standards. From 10 years to 20,000 to integrate ethnic minorites? The United States has been working at it for almost 300 years, so we certainly fall into your range of “very gradually.”

What is it exactly that Europe does better than the U.S. in terms of incorporating its ethnic minorities, because I’m not seeing any distinct advantage. The 2005 ethnic minority riots in France in are a prime example. In terms of biggies, you might recall the ethnicity-driven wars in the Balkans throughout the 90s, culminating in the liberal use of “ethnic cleansing,” and requiring U.N. intervention, spearheaded by . . . The United States.

it doesn't help when your country is founded on a crime against humanity, i.e. taking lands and forcefully evicting native peoples who've been there for at least seven thousand years or so.

Europeans (if that’s what you really are) are probably the last people on the planet to be lecturing anyone about the evils of Colonialism and taking lands. Europeans raised it to an art form.

You should ask Obama that, since he's identified himself as an "African American."

Open-minded Americans, White and Black, need to unite against these bigots. The victory of Obama in the election is already reviving America's reputation around the world as a nation that keeps its fundamental promises and we can't let people like these morons praying for assassinations to ruin it.

he's identified himself as an "African American."

I distinctly heard him identify himself as 'a mutt'.

Take a look at the newest racial threats against Obama.

I'm sure these racist, Southern whites will be amused that their thoughts are in line with that of one of the highest ranked terrorists in Al Q.

I distinctly heard him identify himself as 'a mutt'.

Then you should take another look at his talks regarding the issue.

I think they just need a hug.

A guy gets elected who thinks it is okay to say: US of White America; US of KKK A; and the U.S. government created AIDS to kill blacks.

Looks like the chickens are coming home to roost.

Nothing in obama's history allows him to stake a claim of being racially neutral.

The US is doing okay. Colin Powell, Condi Rice, and now Obama. Not to mention all the non-white people in business, sports and the media. There will always be a certain minority who are racist, but every country has that.

I get sick of people accusing the US of being a racist country, and even more sick of people from racist countries accusing the US of being racist even after Obama was elected.

  • MikeBarrymore at 08:40 PM JST - 22nd November

A sweet cute, kindman is elected who loves all amnkind.

America is doing the right thing for once, god bless.

The chickens are coming home to roost!!!

Obama loves all creeds, minorities and persons of different sexual prefrences.
