Where bush failed and threw in the towel, the newbie community organizer has succeeded - withdrawing America from a conflict it never should have entered in the first place.

Cue Sarge and his repetitive 'liberation' speech. Sarge, 3..2..1..

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Sushi, how can you get things so completely ass-backward? The withdrawal is in accordance with the agreement reached between the Bush administration and the elected Iraqi government which was elected in free elections made possible mainly because the Bush administration made the decision to liberate Iraq from Saddam Hussein. If the newbie community organizer had had his way, well let's just say there wouldn't have been any free elections.

The Bush administration's decision to invade Iraq has pushed the country back into the Stone Age, equal if not worse than it was under Saddam.

What good are free elections to the majority of the population if they are only getting power for 3-4 hours a day and dirty polluted water because America destroyed Iraq's water desalinization facilities?

Get down out of your ivory tower and get into the real world.

If you're talking about Bush Sr. and the sanctions that followed, then yeah, you're mostly correct. If you're talking about the 2003 invasion then you're pretty far off base, which is par for the course for Sushi.

This is mostly made up stuff from Sushi.

"Obama declared the ( Iraq ) war wrong"

In other words he was in favor of letting Saddam continue to rule Iraq with an iron fist from his many luxurious palaces.

Its sad the way you spew the same old spin over and over and never learn a thing. Maybe if you act like those against the war (including Obama) loved Saddam, you will gain some footing? Has not worked for how many years now? I suppose I could say that you loved Saddam but just wanted to see a bunch of people get killed including U.S. soldiers. And since Saddam got so many people killed he was your hero. Makes about as much sense.

Moderator: Readers, Saddam is not relevant to this discussion.

To be fair, there are quite a few people here who spew the same old spin over and over. I can at least give Sarge some credit since he doesn't knowingly say things that are false.

That's interesting, because if he'd had his way, he would be having to deal with you-know-who ( can't mention the person's name here ) today, and Iraq would not have had any free elections.

I find the title of this article to be funny. Not sure if others understand the irony but. USA went into Middle East created a mess. Now they want to clean up the mess. I have a better idea. Leave Middle East alone. It was doing great until USA had to interfere. Let by gone be by gone. It's as if someone comes into a house party. He then breaks all the dishes, vomits in the living room, breaks the toilet and a couple of windows and now he wants to fix it while the owner of the house just wants to kick the dude out and clean up the mess himself while never wanting to invite the same guy to his house party again.
