This mindless vicious attack by a man who obviously was a mental mess and who singled out Christians to kill them DOES NOT mean that a war against Christians has taken place other than in this man's warped and diseased mind. But I'm afraid that there are so many ignorant people who will claim that there is this war and all of us who are not deity worshipers HATE all those who do, which is far, far from the truth.

I don't understand. Going by statistics, the majority of NRA members are Republicans and the majority of Republicans are Christians. Therefore, I don't think it's a leap to assume a large number of NRA members are Christians.

So, how can someone that believes in their heart of hearts in Jesus' word be against gun reform? Guns will never be totally outlawed because many believe there is nothing wrong with using them for sport or self-defense, but how can they not draw the line with civilians owning high-capacity guns and magazines designed and manufactured for mass-killings of humans?

Isn't it totally contradictory to recite the teachings of Christ on Sundays and then vote to maintain these absurd gun laws on election day? I know it sounds stupid, but would Jesus say, Yep, we need to fight gun violence by making sure all of are brothers and sisters are also armed?

I'm not religious, at all, but I always found this odd.

And please don't give that crap about Chicago having the toughest gun laws but being the highest in homicides, because it's like locking your front door and then leaving other window wide open. How effective is a gun law if everywhere else around you doesn't abide by it? Guns can be bought a few towns away and be brought into your city. True gun reform can only be effective if it's nationwide and guns from Mexico can be stopped as well.

I am very curious about the religious questioning. I hope that comes out in this sick man's writings.

What new gun control law would have stopped this ? He would have become even more paranoid that the government was coming after all firearms.

How about a law requiring the government to confiscate all the guns of a person who starts acting paranoid. To hard to enforce?

Amazing to think that since 1987, domestic gun use has killed more than 800, 000 Americans, more than all America's war fatalities in over 200 years.

Where is that number from Tora? Is that including police shootings? Suicides? Self defense?

Careful with stats....they almost ALWAYS favor the agenda of the pollster.

Tora: Um, give us a link please.
