AP - Afghan-Pak situation is more dangerous than reported by you. Islamabad is under Army seige and law and order situation is beyond Western Media imagination.

Pakistan has made a very bad mistake in even allowing the Taliban as close to Islamabad and the government. I was encouraged that some moderation might be brought to the Taliban in this area of the country, but I see that I was totally off track with this one. I didn't think that the Taliban would make their move so quick.
Afghanistan and Pakistan are going to have to work on this together. We screwed up when we took the eye off them in 2003. We gave them the opportunity to regroup and rebuild strength.
We're in trouble along with Pakistan. < :-)
