So many of these news articles give free voice to the fighters and free publicity to their propaganda, and that's all fine and dandy. But...
Why can't anyone speak in like manner for the majority of the populace on both sides of the Pakistan/Afghanistan border? Why do they always have to be silent? Why are there no decent speakers for them, and no-one to make the simple case for keeping the Taliban out and exposing their hypocrisy? Are people afraid, and are the media afraid too?
