News from dawn.com (26th june)says pro-taliban pro-baitullah mehsud militants, killed 22 tribesman whom they say are criminals,kidnappers and miscreants. They also say they are not against any tribe. Isn't this in the same area that the government and the Taliban have recently signed peace agreements? The Pakistanis agreed to remove their troops and weapons from the area and in return the Taliban were supposed to give up militant actions. Looks like the Taliban waited until the troops left and then went in and killed the pro-government tribesmen.
TTP(tehrik-i-taliban pakistan) spokesman Maulvi Umar asks/warns pakistan army,to not meddle in dispute.Otherwise he says, the peace deal there will have lasting damage. There is more precise details, of this dispute. Bet people, in the area ,can tell us more.
