Get your weapon from the Pakistani army and join the fight against the Taliban. Easy way out!

"Pakistani jets... bombed suspected militant positions"
That's likely to cause civilian casualties.

To Islamic jihadists, using 'their own' as human shields seems to be an accepted policy. Hammas follows the same 'moral' code, resulting in massive casualties. Life truly is cheap in the peaceful world of Islam.

Fighting? More like a massacre of traditional mountain tribes by high tech weapons.

I can not imagine the sorrow and pain, these innocent civilians are goin through. The Taliban must be stopped, maybe Mr.Obama can drop Rush Limbaugh on them and this will kill them all off or at leat stun them by hearing all the b.s. this ditto head spews out of that hole in his face (mouth)

The Pakistani army are pathetic and cannot clear out the veil doers. Obama do the right thing now before the Taliban get their hands on Nukes and attack us with their Al Queda cohorts.

Pakistan in transition stage from tribal wars woes, things will be better in future, when things more peaceful.
Pakistan is huge many of its other provinces other than NWFP/FATA, provide enough providence for its people.

It's a better headline than "Hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis killed in nuclear blast."

Do the Taliban wear uniforms? No, thought not. So how does anybody tell the difference between a Taliban fighter & an average civilian? So, 250,000 civilians have already left & about the same number are still there but would rather not be (well the were warned), & that to me means that the Taliban leaders have already left because they never seem to hang about when things get violent (towards them). Now we have a game of hunt the Taliban & we have seen how that is a pointless go nowhere game. Maybe Britain needs to increase security at it’s airports over the next few days.
