Name a time when Afghanistan wasn't in "turmoil." It's the nature of the beast.

Can anyone imagine what would happen if the Taliban managed to get hold of a drone or some drones?

Sarge,
They can't fly them. Can't rebuild 'em. They don't have the technology.

That kind of underestimation is exactly what got us in this situation in the first place.

Just because sarge can't in any way whatsoever defend the reasons why the US is still there does not make this article any less true. Afghanistan has once again become the measure of what not to be like, or in the case of the US, and with Iraq as well, what not to invade prematurely.

Sarge,
Dunno about TheQuestion's post. Just making fun of the Six Million Dollar Man.
Still, dunno what the Taliban could do with a downed drone, save for turning the missiles into IED.

SmithInJapan - I can defend the reasons why we're still in Afghanistan - innocent human beings in the United States of America are still at risk of being attacked by terrorists in Afghanistan.
"Afghanistan has once again become the measure of... what not to invade prematurely"
You mean we shouldn't have kicked out the awful Taliban, who were harboring al-Qaida, when we did, several months after we were attacked?
