Something to be done about these rebel extremists?

The jihad against Israel has been going on for a while. The only newsworthy thing in this article is that the it actually starts with the terrorist act, and not with the Israeli response.

Typical mainstream media procedure would be to write like: "Israeli police arrest Palestinan.... as headline and in fine print if at all, later in the article "who murdered 3 Israelis"...

Round and round we go, where we'll stop, nobody knows. Nothing much to see here, moving along.

The part about the taxi driver cannot be true. Many JT commentators have regularly instructed us that armed civilians never protect anyone.

Quotes and links please, as I don't ever recall anyone making that claim here.

Return their land, livelihoods and dignity. Neither Israelis nor Palestinians need this war.

This Palestinians have been fed a diet of hate from childhood.

Young children are groomed to become murderers and we act surprised when they end up doing so.

ulysses,

Are you not aware of the treachery of England and the Balfour declaration giving Palestinian land away which did not belong to them ? Go look at a map of Palestine before 1948 and look at a map now. Palestinians have been murdered for years, so it is no wonder that they try to fight back.

As a pacifist, I can never agree with violent Palestinian actions, but I fully understand how they have come to that point. Having your land taken away, being treated as second class citizens in your own land, having to pass through checkpoints daily, this would definitely wear on a people.

Isreal is an established state though. They're not going anywhere. They have a permanent population, a defined territory and a government with the capacity to function in all of its responsibilities including diplomatic ties.

Okay . . . but Isreal "acquired new territory" after the 6-day war (1967). When the isrealis by themselves humiliated Egypt, Syria and Jordan. As a result, they've created their right to exist and be vigilant.

@25 years in Japan

Why are you blaming Israeli's for the so called 'treachery of England'? Try to read a bit more of history, the violent attacks against the Jews even before 1948, the attempt to drive them off the land they have lived in for thousands of years. If the Palestinians Moslems had been able to co-exist with other religions we would not be in this endless cycle of violence.

Try to read a bit more of history

Here's some recent history of that same poster, who today beseeches us to understand context:

Not all Palestinians support Hamas

True, some of them support the ISIS and other groups hundred times worse than Hamas.

nor would all support the filthy murder of an Israeli child.

But the majority would.

No more questions, thank you.

I am sure Hamas is grateful for the vote of confidence, what's next, ISIS?
