Well the Palestinians will have some strange bedfellows then, sharing their opinions with the far right of the US political spectrum.

Obama had to finally face reality. Too bad the Palestinians can't.

The Palestinians finally figured out, as many already have, that Obama just talks nice, but he's not much different from previous presidents.

bushlover: "Obama had to finally face reality. Too bad the Palestinians can't"

And what reality are you referring to, exactly? That the US doesn't have the ba$$s to stand up to a tiny little country in the ME? That GWB never could, so now Obama shouldn't either? Aside from you automatically chiding the man because of bitterness over election loss and the fact that your country is moving forward for the better, you're not making a lot of sense by suggesting that since Obama had to kow-tow to Israeli pressure he's "woken up to reality" -- unless of course you're self-deprecating.

Anyway, it's a shame Obama has given in to Israel. As I've said in other posts, support for Israel should not be dropped so long as they are willing to meet the conditions given along with the aid/support.

“left their people to be killed in Gaza"

Is live to fight another day part of the Hamas martyr doctrine? Maybe they are too important to their cause to die so its better to put the poor so called Palestinian kids in the firing line by firing shots from their schools and then, as Abbas said, run when the Zionist machine comes knocking leaving civilians behind.

They should hope in a manner of reason : give some ,take some, what about him and his situations, what about us (Palestinians),what about Israel and the whole world at large...they better never say that their hope evaporated so lightly.

Well, if the Palestinians would acknowledge Israel, and stopped firing those stupid little rockets into Israel, maybe things could turn around.

“All hopes placed in the new U.S. administration and President Obama have evaporated"

Evaporation nation. An Obama at rest tends to stay at rest. Even Obama said he viewed the Nobel Peace Prize less as a recognition of his own accomplishments and more as "a call to action." What kind odf action? Well, it really doesnt matter as long as you are "called" to it.

Smith I'll leave it to your interpretation because you can't change a stubborn young man's mind. It'll take years of watching the middle east for you to come round. Nothing I say would convince you so I leave you to mire in your own pot of Israel loathing. But it is good to see you agree that Obama is a spineless president.

They are just jealous that Obama won the Nobel.Fatah are like the Komeito-Soka Gakkai of the middle east.

Abbas...accused Hamas fighters of fleeing during the fighting while they “left their people to be killed in Gaza.”

Hamas terrorists use civilians as human shields. Even the head of Fatah gets it. Why can't the leftists?
