Stabbing colleagues at a check-point? What does that even mean? Is this some sort of new press speak?

And what are "security personnel" exactly? I cannot say I have too much trouble with going after the baton and assault wielding brute squad oppressing Palestinians. But I wish they would leave the civilians alone.

"Earlier this month, an Israeli man was killed and a woman seriously hurt when a Palestinian driver deliberately rammed his car into a bus stop. In March, five Israelis were injured when a Palestinian drove into a group of pedestrians before getting out of his car to try to stab people. In November, an Israeli border policeman was killed and several people wounded when a Palestinian drove his vehicle into passengers waiting at a tram stop. A three-month-old Israeli-American was among two people killed in a similar attack last October.

For those of you who say that any one of us would do the same thing if we were being oppressed, which of the above is your style? Are you a "drive your car into a 3-month old infant" or more of a stabber? My guess is that you're neither, and you don't see the soft bigotry of saying you'd never do that but you fully expect a Muslim to do it.

Tensions have been running high in and around Jerusalem since the killings of Israeli and Palestinian captives in tit-for-tat kidnappings by Palestinian militants and Jewish extremists last summer.

Already forgotten the 1,500 civilian deaths (UN figures) in Gaza last summer, AFP?

No one with an ounce of decency can excuse the acts of violence vomited up by terrorists.

It is however fair to say that the Israeli government, certainly the one run by the current nutcase, with it's expansionist designs and stated intention of never ever allowing a Palestinian state; then I guess a Gandhi style peaceful protest won't be the weapon of choice.

Is there really a difference between a nut that drives a car into a bus stop or a government that bullies a whole territory to perpetually live like rats?

It is indeed nice and comfortable up here on the fence.

Those savages are gearing up for an intifada. Lets hope Hamas wont hide their RPG / AK stockpiles inside schools, mosques, or Palestine hospitals like the last time.

WC,

Do you think recruitment for the intifada might be helped by Nentenyahu's stated goal that the Palestinians will never achieve statehood while he's in power?

Statehood? Palestinian State? That's scary. A breeding ground for more future "terrorists" and another harbor for radical Islam. Isn't it bad enough IS is trying to attian such status? -Pathetic cause!

WC,

It's obviously too big an ask to fathom for a moment what a collosal casus belli the West's continued aiding and abetting the systematic ethnic cleansing of the Holy Land presents to angry young men.

Instead of responding to the question you seemed to have flown off the handle. I presume when faced with the hard reality that Israel is indeed at least fifty percent of the actual problem that screaming out Fox "news" talking points is the last resort.

Isn't it already a breeding ground for terrorists ?

Isn't it fair to say (back to the original point) that Israel helps the intifada recruitment process by keeping the Palestinians in a ghetto?

And furthermore that certain people will use this plight at the hands of Israeli expansionism as a tool for terrorist recruitment?

At this point, you have to be a radical to support either party. They're just perpetually shit to each other. Only Israel has the massive military advantage - so they get to do what they want.
