The "pot, meet kettle" tag explodes.

Israel is the occupying power, and what it has done many times certainly must be "war crimes and crimes against humanity"

Absolutely. This is clearly documented in the film Five Broken Cameras, about the continuous, daily evil committed against peaceful Palestinian villagers in Bil'in. By the end, of course, after a number of villagers were killed, kids start throwing the only weapon they have: rocks. ( I suppose that is where the pot-kettle analogy applies.)

The "pot, meet kettle" tag explodes.

Surely, "thimble, meet cauldron?"

Ah, Israel would just quickly say no and that any support for any ICJ action is 'anti-Semetic'.

Israel is the only free wold power in the world facing the radical Islam today.

All the rest of whats left from the free world are people who like to bury their head in the sand and blame Israel.

Its much more comfortable to blame some Jewish state in all the evil of the world than face a reality that will come to you eventually but not now. Accusing Jews in Nazism might clear the conscience of what the Nazi's did while continuing hating Jews with clear conscience. Great solution

Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Israel's neighbors already understand what they are facing and joined Israel to stop this medieval dark forces but Europe and rest of free world find it easier to blame Israel just like Egypt and Saudi did it the past.

When it will hit you, it will be tool late

@mongoll

Because Saudi Arabia is the epitome of modern civilisation, right?

Nothing mediaevel about those folks....

If your allies are Saudi and Egyptian, you've got serious moral trouble.

lucabrasi You are right, they are not moral at all - yet, they finally understood something. The moral guys are busy getting money from Qatar and shut their eyes.

Word has it that Al Queda is planning their own lawsuit.

Abdel Bari Atwan seems to think that Abbas and the Palestinian Authority wanted Israel to get rid of Hamas and the other militant extremists in Gaza. The video translation is provided by a very bias Israeli group called Memri, but the translation is accurate

Atwan: The Arab Leaders Pray That Israel Will Get Rid of the Palestinians Once and for All

At any rate, it is a thought provoking video.

Abdel Bari Atwan seems to think that Abbas and the Palestinian Authority wanted Israel to get rid of Hamas and the other militant extremists in Gaza.

Atwan is using rhetoric in hopes that people across the Middle East will pressure their leaders not to sit on their hands while innocent Palestinians are being slaughtered. The way they are behaving now, it is as if they were praying for the genocide of all Palestinians. (Echoing the sentiments of that "man of peace" Rabin, who wished for the obliteration of Gaza.)

It is only "thought-provoking" if one confuses rhetoric with genuine analysis.

(Echoing the sentiments of that "man of peace" Rabin, who wished for the obliteration of Gaza.)

yabits, you cannot seem to make up your mind. One second Yitzhak Rabin was a man of peace, the next second he wasn't. He was a man who wanted to make peace and got the Nobel Peace Prize for it, he was a Zionist who wanted to make peace and got the Nobel Peace Prize for it and he was an Israeli who wanted to make peace and got the Nobel Peace Prize for it. When Rabin was assasinated by that nut, the vast majority of Israelis mourned for their loss of him. The vast majority of Israelis are Zionists and supported his moves towards peace. You will never change that no matter how much you try to spin it.

Atwan is using rhetoric

Atwan described the situation and the reactions of the Middle Eastern nations and Abbas correctly. That is not 'rhetoric'. That is a fact. It was a genuine analysis of the situation. What errors do you find in Atwan's comments? You see, in your words above I actually failed to see any genuine analysis and I merely saw rhetoric.

He had his moments.

When Rabin was assasinated by that nut

The Zionists always seem to manage to have some "nut" come along at the right time.

The vast majority of Israelis are Zionists

Which means they are in a state of rebellion with Torah. This will not end well.

No. Not the "nations" -- the leaders. Many of these leaders have decided to become blind to the plight of the innocent. Atwan's message is to the people of those nations, informing them of the sell-outs of their leaders, using rhetoric. Those leaders now have aligned themselves with the Adversariy of the Torah. This will not end well.

He had his moments.

Then you should attempt to honestly acknowledge them and acknowledge the fact that he was a Zionist to the day he died.

The Zionists always seem to manage to have some "nut" come along at the right time.

'The right time'? What is this supposed to mean? Suddenly you have become a conspiracist? Humankind has many examples of nuts coming along and ruining the potential for peace. The US has plenty of examples. You are sneakily trying to suggest it was a major plot of some sort instead of the work of a fringe nut, but you are wrong. The nut's actions do not and did not represent the majority of Israelis' feelings on the subject.

Which means they are in a state of rebellion with Torah.

Again, chapter and verse of the Torah were it says this, please. I have asked you several times and you have not successfully responded. If you cannot produce this, it seems you genuinely do not know what you are talking about and should stop making references to it.

No. Not the "nations" -- the leaders. Many of these leaders have decided to become blind to the plight of the innocent.

No, the leaders of these nations are against Hamas, plain and simple. So, it appears, is Abbas. So, is the UN, the US, the EU and Russia.

Those leaders now have aligned themselves with the Adversariy of the Torah.

Again, chapter and verse of the Torah were it says this. Also, you claimed my questioning you about this was 'foretold'. Please provide a chapter and verse saying this, as well. If you cannot successfully do this, you should stop attempting to say it is true.

Also, you claimed my questioning you about this was 'foretold'.

People's inability to see and understand was foretold. (Isa 6:9-10)

Again, chapter and verse of the Torah were it says this, please. I have asked you several times and you have not successfully responded

The pertinent fact is this: Extremely devout and observant Jews take the position and can explain -- to those with ears to hear -- the scriptural references.

People's inability to see and understand was foretold. (Isa 6:9-10)

When someone does not show or say anything, there is nothing to understand. For example, your chapter and verse has nothing to do with our conversation or the fact that you have presented no evidence to support your claim.

the scriptural references

Interestingly, you have provided exactly none. You have not provided on Torah chapter and verse that says what you claim it does, namely your incorrect claim that the Torah says Jews are forbidden from making a country in Israel. This is something like my 30th attempt to get you to answer and yet you still cannot do it. As such, I do not think it is wise for anyone to take your claims on the subject seriously.

For example, your chapter and verse has nothing to do with our conversation or the fact that you have presented no evidence to support your claim.

The evidence is rather obvious. From Egypt to Palestine is around a 12-journey by foot. Yet it took them roughly 40 years. If a person could not explain why it took them that long, it would be a complete waste of time getting them to see anything else.
