“I can think of no better way to commemorate 9/11 than to gather with patriots who will ‘never forget,’” Palin wrote.

I can. It does not take a lot of imagination either.

These people are paying 225 a ticket to scream and yell about how much they will have to pay in taxes in 15 years. What a bunch of nimnulls. It can't be the actual money that motivates them. It must something darker and more visceral.

**So Beck/Palin is a spokeswoman/man for every American in the United States ** I hope he will focus on the people who died that day. Alot of Black American,Spanish American,Arabic American, foreign citizens and Caucasian Americans died that day !!!!!

They paid their money to listen to and be in the company of people who share their ideas. It's still legal, as far as I remember.

No one needs instructions on how to "feel" about 9/11.

Then, there are the hecklers from the cheap seats; leeching off this planned event, to get some face time...

The date of the event is a coincidence, Cox said.

    Sure it is.

“I can think of no better way to commemorate 9/11 than to gather with patriots who will ‘never forget,’” Palin wrote.

Of course she can't think of a better way. That would require thinking, and that's not really ex-Governor Cutie Honey's strong point.

The nice bit is that 700 tickets have gone unsold. I guess Beck's people overestimated demand by a significant enough extent. I'm would be very surprised if Beck's people didn't hire 700 people to fill those seats for the event, and that next time the book a venue, they'll make sure to include the proviso that the facilities management will make no statements about whether or not the event was* Sold Out!*

"We feel they ( Palin & Beck ) are inciting racism"

It's too bad they feel that way. They are mistaken.

“We feel that they are inciting racism in what they do and what they say and how they go about it,” she said.

If I can make a living off when someone used the word racism every time I would be a rich person by now. People use the word, racism, when Palin and Beck have the right to their own opinions as where the U.S. is going. I don't agree with Palin or Beck. People don't have to agree about everything. Censoring people opinions and freedom of speech and calling it racism or hate speech is not going to bridge the gap between differences of opinions. People need to think outside the box and not label everyone or every situation racism or hate speech. What happened to tolerant. Does tolerant only applies to certain people who are getting special treatment?

Wow, this guy seems to like coincidences. MLK's speech (date and location), 9/11. He's either extremely forgetful, an awful planner, or lying through his teeth just to get the media love he so craves. Not being in a position to know which of the above is true, all I can take from it is that none of the above are particular traits of someone I'd want to be overly influenced by.

I was one of the organizers of this anti-Beck/Palin rally here in Anchorage,Alaska, yesterday. We had 300+ people show up outside the convention center, and we had made our own signs to say how we are tired of Beck and Palin inciting the hate of people who are different then them. I am part Japanese, my mother's father was Japanese and he married a Tlingit Indian woman from Alaska. We the protesters are not happy with the messages that Beck and Palin are saying about the people they think are un-American because thwy don't think like them. Sarah Palin is not who she pretends to be, she is a racist and a bigot. I met her once and she looked at me like I wasn't anybody, because I DON'T LOOK LIKE HER. She made a lot of money from selling herself, pretending to be a Alaskan woman, who hunts and does all Alaskan things. She doesn't really hunt like she says she does. She lies about who she really is. I just want you to know the truth. Don't listen to her.

Palin-Beck just need to go away...forever. Honestly, the media should be charging them for their coverage.

The word "patriot" has come to mean, "People who have the same opinions as I do."

    It has not.

Can that semi-illiterate moron Palin still see Russia?

“I support a lot of what Glenn Beck has to say, especially when it comes to smaller government and getting God back to America,” Dan Garrett of Wasilla said.

Why would God wanna come back? He abandoned that joint years ago! He doesn't want to deal with yokels like this bloke and Palin!

It's very strange how the Tea Party and Brand Beck galvanized American politics all of a sudden-- with one formidable partner via Fox News. And when Rupert Murdoch promised the news channel shouldn't be supporting the Tea Party, how many of us should really buy it?

But for the time being, the Tea Party might be what these conservatives in America need. And whether you like them or not-- I believe they're just adding new voices to an otherwise limping 'grassroot movement' in that country. And as an alternative platform for American grievances and woes, they're doing an impressive, decent job for their cause.

Holding a sign that said “Freedom isn’t just for zealots,” Brian MacMillan of Anchorage urged Palin and Beck supporters to ease up on President Barack Obama.

For the Democrats to thump the electoral threat coming from this new force, they need to quickly re-assert the political center.

I admire Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck very much. I wish them, and the wonderful American people who support them, every success in their efforts to win back America to common sense and decency.
